• எல்ஐசி நிறுவனம் 'தன் வர்ஷா' என்ற புதிய காப்பீட்டு திட்டத்தை அறிமுகம் செய்துள்ளது. இந்த புதிய திட்டம் கடந்த 17ம் தேதி முதல் அமலில் உள்ளது. பங்குச்சந்தை சாராத, லாப பங்களிப்பு அல்லாத, தனி நபர் சேமிப்பு ஆயுள் காப்பீட்டு திட்டமாக இது உள்ளது. 
• பாலிசி காலத்தில் பாலிசிதாரர் இறந்து விட்டால், குடும்பத்தினருக்கு நிதி ஆதரவு கிடைக்கும். பாலிசி முதிர்வடையும் பட்சத்தில், உத்தரவாதமாக பெரிய தொகை கிடைக்கும். 
• இந்த திட்டம் நடப்பு நிதியாண்டு முழுக்க அமலில் இருக்கும். 10 ஆண்டு அல்லது 15 ஆண்டில் முதிர்வடையும் வகையில் பாலிசியை தேர்வு செய்து கொள்ளலாம். 
• 1.25 மடங்கு அல்லது டேபுலர் பிரீமியம் போல் 10 மடங்கு என காப்பீட்டு தொகையை தேர்ந்தெடுக்க வாய்ப்புகள் உள்ளன. குறைந்த பட்ச அடிப்படை உத்தரவாத தொகையாக ரூ.1,25,000 கிடைக்கும்.

• LIC has launched a new insurance plan called 'Dhan Varsha'. This new scheme is effective from last 17th. It is a non-equity, non-contributory, individual savings life insurance plan. If the policyholder dies during the policy period, the family will get financial support. If the policy matures, the sum assured will be larger.
• The scheme will be in effect throughout the current financial year. You can opt for a policy that matures in 10 years or 15 years. There are options to choose the sum assured as 1.25 times or 10 times as tabular premium. A minimum base sum assured of Rs.1,25,000 is available.
