• மூவலூர் இராமாமிர்தம் அம்மையார் நினைவு திருமண உதவித்திட்டம், தமிழ்நாட்டின் ஏழைப் பெண்களின் திருமண உதவிக்கான இத்திட்டம் மூவலூர் இராமாமிர்தம் நினைவாக, தமிழக முன்னாள் முதல்வர் மு. கருணாநிதியால் 1989ல் ரூ.5,000 திருமண நிதியுதவியாக துவக்கப்பட்ட இந்த திட்டத்தில், 2009இல் ரூ.25,000 ஆக உயர்த்தி வழங்கப்பட்டது. 
• பின்னர் 2011இல் இத்திட்டத்தவகையை 50,00 ஆக உயர்த்தியும் தாலிக்கு 4 கிராம் தங்கமும் சேர்த்து முன்னாள் முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா ஆட்சிக்காலத்தில் வழங்கப்பட்டது. 2016இல் 8 கிராம் தங்கமாக உயர்த்தி வழங்கப்பட்டது.
• ஒரு குடும்பத்திற்கு ஒரு பெண்ணிற்கு மட்டும் திருமண உதவி தொகை வழங்கப்படும். பெண்ணின் வயது 18 முடிந்திருக்க வேண்டும். குடும்ப ஆண்டு வருமானம் ரூபாய் 24,000 மிகாமல் இருக்க வேண்டும்.
• உதவித்தொகைக்கான விண்ணப்பத்துடன் பெண்ணின் திருமண அழைப்பிதழ், ஆண்டு வருமான சான்றிதழ், பள்ளி அல்லது கல்லூரி அல்லது பாலிடெக்னிக் மாற்றுச் சான்றிதழ் மற்றும் மதிப்பெண் பட்டியல் நகல் ஆகியவைகளை இணைத்து, திருமணத்திற்கு 45 நாட்களுக்கு முன்னர் திருமண உதவித்தொகைக்கான விண்ணப்பத்தை தங்கள் வாழும் பகுதியின் மாநகராட்சி ஆணையர் அல்லது நகராட்சி ஆணையர் அல்லது ஊராட்சி ஒன்றிய ஆணையர் அல்லது மாவட்ட சமூகநல அலுவலர் அலுவலகத்திற்கு அனுப்பவேண்டும்.

திருமண உதவித் தொகையும், தகுதிகளும்

திட்டம் 1

• பத்தாம் வகுப்பு பள்ளிக் கல்வி முடித்திருத்தால் போதுமானது (தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருக்கத் தேவையில்லை). பழங்குடியின பெண்கள் எனில் ஐந்தாம் வகுப்பு பள்ளிக்கல்வி முடித்திருக்க வேண்டும். 
• தனியார் / தொலைதூரக் கல்வி மூலம் படித்து இருந்தால் 10ம் வகுப்பு தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும். இவர்களுக்கு ரூபாய் 25,000 மதிப்புள்ள காசோலை மற்றும் 4 கிராம் தங்க நாணயம் வழகப்படும்.

திட்டம் 2 

• பட்டதாரிகள் எனில் கல்லூரியிலோ அல்லது தொலை தூரக்கல்வி மூலமோ அல்லது அரசால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட திறந்தவெளி பல்கலைக் கழகங்களிலோ படித்து தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும். 
• பட்டயப் படிப்பு (Diploma Holders) எனில் தமிழக அரசின் தொழில்நுட்ப கல்வி இயக்குனரகத்தால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட கல்வி நிறுவனங்களில் படித்து தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருத்தல் வேண்டும். இவர்களுக்கு ரூபாய் 50,000 மதிப்புள்ள காசோலை மற்றும் 4 கிராம் தங்க நாணயம் வழங்கப்படும்.

திட்டம் மாற்றியமைப்பு

• 2022 ஆண்டு மு. க. ஸ்டாலின் தலைமையிலான தமிழக அரசு இத்திட்டத்தை பெண் கல்வியை ஊக்குவிக்கும்படியாக மூவலூர் இராமாமிர்தம் அம்மையார் உயர்கல்வி உறுதித் திட்டம் என்று மாற்றியமைத்தது. 
• இப்புதிய திட்டத்தின்படி 6 முதல் 12ஆம் வகுப்புவரை அரசு பள்ளியில் பயின்று உயர்கல்வி படிக்கும் மாணவிகளுக்கு மாதம் ரூ 1000 உதவித் தொகை வழங்கும் திட்டமாக மாற்றியமைக்கப்பட்டது. 
• இத்திட்டத்தில் மாணவிகளின் வங்கிக்கணக்கில் மாதம்தோறும் வரவு வைக்கப்படும். மேலும் இந்த மாணவிகள் ஏற்கெனவே பிற கல்வி உதவித்தொகை பெற்று வந்தாலும், இத்திட்டத்தில் கூடுதலாக உதவி பெறலாம்.

• Muvalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Memorial Marriage Assistance Scheme This scheme for the marriage assistance of poor women of Tamil Nadu was started by the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. Karunanidhi in 1989 as a marriage grant of Rs.5,000 and in 2009 it was increased to Rs.25,000. 
• Later in 2011, this scheme was increased to 50,00 and 4 grams of gold per thali was given during the regime of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. In 2016, it was increased to 8 grams of gold.
• Only one woman per family will be given marriage allowance. Girl should be above 18 years of age. Annual family income should not exceed Rs 24,000.
• Application for marriage allowance should be sent to the office of the Corporation Commissioner or Municipal Commissioner or Panchayat Union Commissioner or District Social Welfare Officer of their area of ​​residence along with marriage invitation, annual income certificate, school or college or polytechnic transfer certificate and mark sheet copy of the woman and 45 days before marriage.

Marital Allowance and Eligibility

Plan 1

• Completion of 10th standard schooling is sufficient (not required to pass). In case of tribal girls, they should have completed 5th standard schooling. 
• Should have passed 10th standard if studying through private / distance education. They will be presented with a check worth Rs 25,000 and a 4-gram gold coin.

Plan 2

• In case of graduates, they should have completed their studies in college or through distance education or open universities recognized by the government. 
• In case of diploma holders, they should have studied and passed in the educational institutes recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. They will be given a check worth Rs 50,000 and a 4-gram gold coin.

Project Modification

• On year of 2022, The Tamil Nadu government led by Stalin renamed the scheme as Muvalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme to promote female education. 
• According to this new scheme, it has been changed to a scheme of providing Rs 1000 per month assistance to female students studying higher education in government schools from 6th to 12th standard. 
• In this scheme, students' bank accounts will be credited every month. And even if these students are already getting other scholarships, they can get additional help under this scheme.
