வங்கி முறைகேள் அலுவலர் (Banking Ombudsman) என்பவர் வங்கி வாடிக்கையாளருக்கு ஏற்படும் குறைகளைக் களைபவர். இந்திய அரசின் அறிவுறுத்தல்களின்படி, வங்கி முறைகேள் திட்டம் (Banking Ombudsman Scheme) 1 சனவரி 2006ஆம் நாள் முதல் நடைமுறைக்கு வந்துள்ளது.
இத்திட்டத்தை இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கி நடைமுறைப்படுத்துகிறது.
இத்திட்டத்தின்படி இந்தியாவில் அனைத்துப் பகுதிகளில் வங்கி முறைகேள் அலுவலர்கள் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
வங்கி வாடிக்கையாளர், தனது வங்கி நடவடிக்கைகள் தொடர்பான குறைகளை, அனைத்து வழிகளிலும் முயன்றும், குறிப்பிட்ட வங்கியால் தீர்க்கப்படவில்லை எனில் வங்கி முறைகேள் அலுவலரிடம் முறையிட்டுத் தீர்வு காணலாம்.
வங்கி வாடிக்கையாளர்களின் குறைகளைக் களைய, நாட்டின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் வங்கி முறைகேள் அலுவலர்கள் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
வங்கி முறைகேள் அலுவலர், ஒரளவு நீதிமன்ற அதிகாரத்துடன் செயல்படுபவர். வங்கி முறைகேள் அலுவலரின் முடிவு, தனக்குச் சாதகமாக இல்லாத போது, வங்கி வாடிக்கையாளரோ அல்லது வங்கியோ நீதிமன்றத்தை அணுகலாம்.
இணையவழி வங்கி நடவடிக்கைகளில், வங்கிகளின் குறைபாடுகள் குறித்தும் வங்கி முறைகேள் அலுவலரிடம் புகார் மனு அளிக்கலாம்
Banking Ombudsman is a person who resolves the grievances of bank customers. As per the instructions of the Government of India, the Banking Ombudsman Scheme has come into effect from 1st January 2006.
This scheme is implemented by the Reserve Bank of India. Under this scheme Bank Fraud Officers have been appointed in all regions of India.
A bank customer can appeal to the Bank Malpractice Officer if the grievances related to his banking activities are not resolved by the particular bank despite trying all means. Bank fraud officers have been appointed in various parts of the country to redress the grievances of bank customers.
The Bank Fraud Officer acts with quasi-judicial powers. Bank customer or bank can approach the court when the decision of Bank Malpractice Officer is not in his favour.
Complaints can also be filed with the Bank Malpractice Officer regarding deficiencies in e-banking operations
