• ஏழைகளின் வீடுகளுக்கான தேவையை நிறைவு செய்யும் முதலமைச்சரின் சூரிய மின்சக்தியுடன் கூடிய பசுமை வீடு திட்டம் தமிழக அரசின் முன்னோடித் திட்டம் ஆகும். 
• நமது நாட்டிலேயே 300 சதுர அடி பரப்பளவில் சூரிய மின்சக்தி விளக்குகளுடன் கூடிய வீடுகள் வழங்குவது இதுவே முதன் முறையாகும்.

இத்திட்டத்தின் சிறப்பம்சங்கள்

• ஊரகப் பகுதிகளில் வறுமை கோட்டிற்கு கீழ் வாழும் மக்கள் அனைவரும் சூரிய மின்சக்தியுடன் கூடிய பசுமை வீடுகள் பெற தகுதியானவர்கள்.
• ஒவ்வொரு வீடும் 300 சதுர அடி பரப்பளவில், ரூ. 2.10 இலட்சம் அலகுத் தொகையுடன் மாநில அரசின் முழு நிதி உதவியுடன் கட்டப்படுகிறது.
• ஒவ்வொரு வீடும், வசிக்கும் அறை, படுக்கை அறை, சமையல் அறை, கழிப்பறை மற்றும் தாழ்வாரம் ஆகிய வசதிகள் மற்றும் மழைநீர் சேகரிப்பு அமைப்புடன் கட்டப்படுகிறது.
• ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிலும் சூரிய ஒளி சக்தியில் எரியும் அடர்குறு விளக்குகள் (5) அமைக்கப்படும். இவை படுக்கை அறை, வசிக்கும் அறை, சமையல் அறை, கழிப்பறை மற்றும் தாழ்வாரம் ஆகிய பகுதிகளில் ஒரு விளக்கு வீதம் அமைக்கப்படும்.
• பயனாளிகளின் விருப்பத்தின்படி தமிழ்நாடு மின்சார வாரியத்திலிருந்து மின் இணைப்பு பெறும் விருப்பத்திற்கும் வழிவகை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• வீடுகள் கட்டும் பணி ஊரக வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் ஊராட்சித் துறையிடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 110 சூரிய சக்தி விளக்குகள் அமைக்கும் பணியை தமிழ்நாடு எரிசக்தி மேம்பாட்டு முகமை செயல்படுத்தும்.
• பசுமை வீடுகள், பயனாளிகளின் குடியிருப்பு அமைந்துள்ள இடம் (அவன்/அவளின் வசிப்பிடத்தை மாற்றியமைத்து) அல்லது கிராம ஊராட்சியின் பிற பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள பயனாளிக்குச் சொந்தமான இடங்களில் கட்டித்தரப்படும்.
• மேலும், இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் வீடுகள் கட்டப்படுவதற்கென நில எடுப்புகள் ஏதும் செய்யப்படமாட்டாது. வீட்டுமனைப் பட்டா அல்லது சரியான நில உரிமை உள்ளவர்கள் மட்டுமே இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் வீடு பெறத் தகுதியானவர்கள் ஆவர்.

பயனாளிகளின் தகுதிகள்

• சம்மந்தப்பட்ட கிராம ஊராட்சியில் வசிப்பவராக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
• சம்மந்தப்பட்ட கிராம ஊராட்சியில் உள்ள வறுமை கோட்டிற்குக் கீழ் உள்ளவர்களின் நிரந்தர காத்திருப்போர் பட்டியலில் இடம் பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.
• 300 சதுர அடிக்கு குறையாத வீட்டு மனை இடத்திற்கு சொந்தக்காரராக இருக்க வேண்டும்.
• குடும்பத் தலைவரின் பெயரிலோ அல்லது குடும்ப உறுப்பினரில் எவரேனும் ஒருவர் பெயரிலோ வில்லங்கமற்ற வீட்டுமனைப் பட்டா இருக்க வேண்டும்.
• தொடர்புடைய கிராம ஊராட்சியில் அல்லது வேறு எங்கும் கான்கிரீட் கூரை போடப்பட்ட சொந்த வீடு எதுவும் இருக்கக் கூடாது.
• அரசின் இதர வீடு கட்டும் திட்டங்களில் பயன்பெற்றவராக இருக்கக் கூடாது.

• The Chief Minister's Solar Powered Green House Scheme is a pilot project of the Tamil Nadu Government to meet the housing needs of the poor. This is the first time in our country to offer 300 square feet houses with solar lights.

Highlights of this scheme

• All people living below poverty line in rural areas are eligible for solar powered green houses.
• Each house has an area of ​​300 square feet, Rs. 2.10 lakh unit with full financial assistance from the state government.
• Each house is built with living room, bedroom, kitchen, toilet and porch facilities and rainwater harvesting system.
• Each house will be equipped with solar powered dim lights (5). These will be installed one lamp per bedroom, living room, kitchen, toilet and corridor.
• Provision is also made for the option of getting electricity connection from the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board as per the wishes of the users.
• The construction of houses has been entrusted to the Department of Rural Development and Panchayats. Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency will implement the installation of 110 solar lights.
• The Green Houses are constructed at the beneficiary's residence location (replacing his/her residence) or at the beneficiary's own land located in another part of the village panchayat.
• Also, no land acquisition will be done for construction of houses under this scheme. Only those who have house title or valid land title are eligible to get a house under this scheme.

Eligibility of Beneficiaries

• Should be a resident of the concerned village panchayat.
• Must be in the permanent waiting list of below poverty line in the concerned village panchayat.
• Must own a house plot of not less than 300 sq.ft.
• There should be a pet-free house title in the name of the head of the family or in the name of any member of the family.
• There shall be no concrete roofed private house in the concerned village panchayat or elsewhere.
• Should not be a beneficiary of other government housing schemes.
