• மாநில தரவு மையம் (STATE DATA CENTRE), இந்திய மாநிலங்களின் அரசுசார்ந்த துறைகளில் செயற்படும் பற்பல வழங்கிகளை ஒன்றிணைத்து நிர்வகிக்க உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. 
• இது ஒன்றியப் பிரதேசங்களின் அரசுகளுக்கும் பொருந்தும். இந்த தரவு மையத்தில் பல தரவுத்தள வழங்கிகளும், கோப்பு வழங்கிகளும், இணைய வழங்கிகளும் இருக்கும். மாநில பெரும்பரப்பு இணையத்தின் மூலமாக தேவையான இடங்களுக்கு சேவைகள் வழங்கப்படும். 
• 2008 ஆம் ஆண்டில் இந்த செயல்திட்டத்திற்கு இந்திய அரசின் தேசிய இணைய அரசின் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் அனுமதி அளிக்கப்பட்டது

• STATE DATA CENTRE was created to coordinate and manage data providers operating in government sectors of Indian states. This also applies to the governments of Union Territories. 
• This data center contains multiple database servers, file servers, and web servers. Services will be provided to the required locations through the state broadband. 
• In 2008 the project was sanctioned under the National Internet Government Scheme of the Government of India
