• உலகில் உள்ள அனைத்து உயிர்களும் உயிர்வாழ அடிப்படை ஆதாரம் உணவு தான். ஒரு நாட்டின் அமைவிடம், கலாச்சாரம், வாழ்வியல் முறையின் அடிப்படையில் அந்நாட்டின் உணவு பழக்க வழக்கங்கள் அமைந்துள்ளன. உலகின் பல்வேறு நாடுகளிலும் பலவிதமான உணவுகள் உள்ளன.
• உலகில் உள்ள உணவு வகைகளில் சிறந்த உணவிற்கு டேஸ்ட் அட்லஸ் விருதுகள் அறிவித்தது. அதன்படி, 2022ம் ஆண்டிற்கான உலகின் சிறந்த உணவு வகைகளின் பட்டியலில் இத்தாலி முதல் இடத்தையும், கிரீஸ் 2வது இடத்தையும், ஸ்பெயின் 3வது இடத்தையும், ஜப்பான் 4வது இடத்தையும் பிடித்துள்ளன. இந்தியா 5வது இடத்தை பிடித்துள்ளது. 
• பொருட்கள், உணவுகள் மற்றும் பானங்களுக்கான பார்வையாளர்களின் வாக்குகளின் அடிப்படையில் தரவரிசை அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் இந்தியா 4.54 புள்ளிகள் பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• டேஸ்ட்அட்லஸ் விருதுகள் 2022 முடிவுகளின்படி, 400க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பொருட்களில் கரம் மசாலா, நெய், மலாய், வெண்ணெய் பூண்டு நான் மற்றும் கீமா ஆகியவை இந்தியாவில் சிறந்த உணவுகளாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• ஸ்ரீ தாக்கர் போஜனலே (மும்பை), காரவல்லி (பெங்களூரு), புகாரா (புது டெல்லி), டம் புக்த் (புது டெல்லி), கொமோரின் (குருகிராம்) மற்றும் 450 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட இடங்கள் இந்திய உணவு வகைகளை முயற்சிப்பதற்கான சிறந்த உணவகங்கள் என்று பட்டியலில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• The Taste Atlas Awards announce the best food in the world's cuisine. Accordingly, in the list of the world's best cuisines for 2022, Italy has taken the first place, Greece has taken the 2nd place, Spain has taken the 3rd place, and Japan has taken the 4th place. India is ranked 5th.
• Rankings are based on audience votes for products, food and drinks. India has scored 4.54 points.
• According to the TasteAtlas Awards 2022 results, among more than 400 items, garam masala, ghee, malai, avocado garlic naan and keema have been selected as the best dishes in India.
• The list mentions Sri Thakkar Bhojanale (Mumbai), Karavalli (Bangalore), Bukhara (New Delhi), Dum Pukht (New Delhi), Comorin (Gurugram) and more than 450 places as the best restaurants to try Indian cuisine.
