தேசிய அளவிலான பதப்படுத்தப்பட்ட மீன் மற்றும் மீன் பொருட்களின் மேம்பாடு குறித்த கருத்தரங்கு / NATIONAL LEVEL SEMINAR ON DEVELOPMENT OF PROCESSED FISH & FISH PRODUCTS

• விடுதலை அமிர்தப் பெருவிழாக் கொண்டாட்டத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக நவம்பர் 29, 2022 அன்று “பதப்படுத்தப்பட்ட மீன் மற்றும் மீன் பொருட்களின் மேம்பாடு” குறித்த தேசிய அளவிலான இணையதள கருத்தரங்கிற்கு மீன்வளத்துறை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தது. 
• மத்திய அரசின் மீன்வளத்துறை செயலாளர் திரு ஜதீந்திர நாத் ஸ்வைன் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்ச்சியில், தொழில்முனைவோர் மீன் வளத்துறை சங்கங்கள், மீன்வளத்துறை அதிகாரிகள், பல்வேறு மாநிலங்கள் மற்றும் யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களின் மீன்வளத்துறை அதிகாரிகள், மாநில வேளாண், கால்நடை மற்றும் மீன்வளத்துறை பல்கலைக்கழகங்களின் ஆசிரியர்கள், மீன்வளத்துறை ஆராய்ச்சி மையங்கள், மீன்வளத்துறை கூட்டுறுவு அதிகாரிகள் அறிவியலாளர்கள், மாணவர்கள், நாடு முழுவதிலும் உள்ள மீன்வளத்துறை தொடர்புடையவர்கள் ஆகியோர் பங்கேற்றனர்.
• இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் வரவேற்புரையாற்றிய உள்நாட்டு மீன்வளத்துறை இணைச் செயலாளர் திரு சாகர் மெஹ்ரா, இந்திய மீன்வளத்துறை, மீன்வளத்துறையின் திட்டங்கள், ஆகியவற்றின் தற்போதைய நிலை குறித்து விரிவாக எடுத்துரைத்தார். 
• விளிம்பு நிலை சமுதாயத்தினருக்கு ஊட்டச்சத்தை உறுதி செய்யும் வகையில், உள்நாட்டு மீன் நுகர்வை மேம்படுத்துவதன் முக்கியத்துவம் குறித்து எடுத்துரைத்தார்.

• Fisheries Department organized a national level webinar on “Development of Processed Fish and Fish Products” on November 29, 2022 as part of Vimithya Amrita Festival celebrations.
• In the program chaired by Mr. Jatindra Nath Swain, Secretary, Fisheries, Central Government, Entrepreneurs Fisheries Associations, Fisheries Officers, Fisheries Officers of various States and Union Territories, Teachers of State Agricultural, Veterinary and Fisheries Universities, Fisheries Research Centres, Fisheries Cooperative Officers, Scientists, Students, all over the country participated in the event. Those related to Fisheries Department also participated.
• Mr. Sagar Mehra, Joint Secretary, Inland Fisheries, who delivered the welcome address on the occasion, gave a detailed account of the current status of the Indian Fisheries Department and the plans of the Fisheries Department.
• He highlighted the importance of promoting indigenous fish consumption to ensure nutrition for marginalized communities.
