வலிமை சிமெண்ட் திட்டம் / VALIMAI CEMENT SCHEME

• தமிழக முதல்வர் மு.க. தமிழ்நாடு சிமெண்ட்ஸ் கார்ப்பரேஷன் லிமிடெட்டின் (TANCEM) புதிய சிமெண்ட் பிராண்டான ‘வலிமை’யை ஸ்டாலின் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• வலிமை சிமென்ட் பிராண்டின் இரண்டு ரகங்களின் விலை ₹350 மற்றும் ₹365 ஆக உள்ளது.
• புதிய சிமென்ட் பிராண்ட் அதிக சுருக்க வலிமை மற்றும் விரைவான அமைப்பைக் கொண்டிருந்தது, மேலும் வெப்பத்தை எதிர்க்கும் திறன் கொண்டது.
• TANCEM ஆரம்பத்தில் விருதுநகர் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள ஆலங்குளத்தில் ஆண்டுக்கு 2 லட்சம் மெட்ரிக் டன் திறன் கொண்ட ஒரு சிமென்ட் ஆலையுடன் இயங்கியது.
• இது இறுதியில் அரியலூர் மாவட்டத்தில் ஆண்டுக்கு 17 லட்சம் மெட்ரிக் டன் திறன் கொண்ட மேலும் இரண்டு சிமென்ட் ஆலைகளை இயக்கியது.
• இது ‘அரசு’ என்ற சிமென்ட் பிராண்டை விற்பனை செய்து வருகிறது

• Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin launched ‘Valimai’ — a new cement brand from Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Limited (TANCEM). The two varieties of the Valimai cement brand are priced at ₹350 and ₹365 a bag.
• New cement brand had greater compression strength and quick setting, and was also heat resistant.
• TANCEM initially operated with one cement plant at Alangulam in Virudhunagar district with a capacity of 2 lakh MT per annum.
• It eventually operated two more cement plants in Ariyalur district with a total capacity of 17 lakh MT per annum. It has been marketing a cement brand named Arasu
