• SRCW இன் முதன்மை நோக்கமானது, மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள துறைகளில் பெண்களின் முழுமையான அதிகாரமளிப்பதற்காக வேலை செய்வதாகும்.
• இது பெண் அதிகாரம் தொடர்பான பிரச்சினைகளில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள அரசு மற்றும் பிற பங்குதாரர்களுக்கு பாலின உணர்வுத் திட்டங்கள், சட்டங்கள் மற்றும் திட்டங்களை பயனுள்ள ஒருங்கிணைப்பின் மூலம் செயல்படுத்த உதவுகிறது.
• இது பல்வேறு மத்திய மற்றும் மாநில அரசுகளின் பெண்களை மையப்படுத்திய திட்டங்கள்/திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் அரசு திட்டங்களின் பாலின முக்கிய நீரோட்டத்தை ஒருங்கிணைப்பதற்காக பாடுபடும். SRCW பெண்களின் அதிகாரம் மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டிற்காக செயல்படுத்தப்படும் திட்டங்கள்/திட்டங்களுக்கான தேவையை தூண்டுவதற்கு விழிப்புணர்வு உருவாக்கம் மூலம் சூழலை உருவாக்கும்.
• பெண்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் மேம்பாட்டு அமைச்சகம், ஒரு திட்டம்/திட்டத்தை அதனுடன் நெருக்கமாக இணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மற்ற திட்டங்களுடன் இணைத்து நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து வருகிறது. 
• NMEW-ன் கீழ் ஒரு புதிய கூறு கொண்ட திட்டம் கிராம ஒருங்கிணைப்பு மற்றும் வசதி சேவை (VCFS) ஆகும், இது தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட 100 மாவட்டங்களில் வழங்கப்படும். பெண்களின் அதிகாரமளிக்கும் சூழலில் பல்வேறு மத்திய/மாநில அரசு திட்டங்கள்/திட்டங்கள் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தவும், தேவையை உருவாக்கவும், அத்தகைய சேவைகளைப் பெறவும் சமூகத்தை அணிதிரட்டவும், பேட்டி பச்சோ பேட்டி படாவோ (BBBP) உள்ளடக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

ENGLISH

• The primary objective of SRCW is to work for holistic empowerment of women in the state cutting across sectors.
• It facilitates Government and other stakeholders involved in women empowerment issues to implement Gender sensitive programmes, laws and schemes through effective coordination.
•  It will strive for the convergence of women centric programmes/schemes of various Central and State Governments and Gender mainstreaming of Government programmes. SRCW will create an environment through awareness generation to fuel demand by women for schemes/programmes implemented for their empowerment and development.
• Ministry of Women and Child Development is taking steps by linking one programme/Scheme with other programmes closely connected to it and one such programme envisaged under NMEW with a new component is Village Convergence &Facilitation Service (VCFS) which will be provided in selected 100 districts where Beti Bacho Beti Padhao (BBBP) is being covered, with an aim to generate awareness regarding various Central/State government programmes/Schemes in the context of women’s empowerment and mobilize the community to create demand and access/avail such services.
