சென்னையில் ஜி20 கல்விக்குழு மாநாடு / G20 EDUCATION GROUP CONFERENCE

• ஜி20 உச்சி மாநாடு 2022-23ம் ஆண்டில் நடத்தும் பொறுப்பை இந்தியா ஏற்றுள்ளது. ஜி20 உச்சி மாநாடு டில்லியில் வரும் செப்டம்பர் மாதம் நடைபெற உள்ளது. இதனையடுத்து நாடு முழுவதும் 50 நகரங்களில் பல்வேறு துறைகளுடன் சேர்ந்து கருத்தரங்குகள் நடந்து வருகிறது. 
• அதன் ஒருபகுதியாக ஒன்றிய கல்வித்துறை சார்பிலான ஜி20 கல்விக்குழு மாநாடு சென்னை தரமணியில் உள்ள ஐஐடியின் ஆராய்ச்சி பூங்கா வளாகத்தில் தொடங்கியது. 
• இந்த தொடக்க விழாவில், ஒன்றிய உயர்கல்வித்துறை செயலர் சஞ்சய் மூர்த்தி, ஒன்றிய உயர்கல்வித்துறை செயலர் சஞ்சய் குமார், ஐஐடி இயக்குநர் காமகோடி, தமிழ்நாடு உயர் கல்வித்துறை செயலாளர் கார்த்திகேயன், ஜி20 உறுப்பு நாடுகளின் பிரதிநிதிகள், மாணவர்கள், பேராசிரியர்கள் என 800க்கும் மேற்பட்டோர் பங்கேற்றனர். 
• சென்னையில் சர்வதேச அளவில் கல்வி தொடர்பான கண்காட்சி மற்றும் கருத்தரங்கம் நடைபெறுவது இதுவே முதல்முறை. இந்த கண்காட்சியில் 50க்கும் அதிகமான அரங்குகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• குறிப்பாக, தமிழ்நாட்டில் இருந்து மாநில கல்வித்துறையின் சார்பில் நான் முதல்வன், நம்ம பள்ளி திட்டங்கள், தமிழ்நாடு திறன் மேம்பாட்டு கழகம் ஆகியவற்றின் அரங்குகள் கண்காட்சியில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. 
• ஒன்றிய அரசின் இந்திய ஸ்வையம், சமர்த், தீக்ஷா போன்ற திட்டங்கள் பற்றியும், மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கான கல்வி உபகரணங்கள் தயாரிக்கும் ஸ்டார்ட் அப் இந்தியா நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் சவுதி அரேபியா, பிரான்ஸ், சீனா, நெதர்லாந்து உள்ளிட்ட நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த நிறுவனங்களும் இந்த கண்காட்சியில் அரங்குகள் அமைத்துள்ளன

• India has taken up the responsibility of hosting the G20 Summit in 2022-23. The G20 Summit will be held in Delhi in September. After this, seminars are going on in 50 cities across the country along with various departments.
• As part of it, the G20 Education Group Conference on behalf of the Union Education Department started at the Research Park campus of IIT, Tharamani, Chennai.
• More than 800 people like Union Higher Education Secretary Sanjay Murthy, Union Higher Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar, IIT Director Kamakody, Tamil Nadu Higher Education Secretary Karthikeyan, representatives of G20 member countries, students and professors participated in this opening ceremony.
• This is the first time that an international education-related exhibition and conference will be held in Chennai. More than 50 halls have been set up in this exhibition.
• In particular, from Tamil Nadu on behalf of the State Education Department, Nan Muluvan, Namma School Schemes and Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation have been featured in the exhibition.
• India Swayam, Samarth, Deeksha and other programs of the Union Government, start-up India companies that manufacture educational equipment for the differently-abled, and companies from countries like Saudi Arabia, France, China, and the Netherlands have also set up halls in this exhibition.
