தோட்டக்கலை கிளஸ்டர் மேம்பாட்டு திட்டம் / HORTICULTURE CLUSTER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

• மத்திய வேளாண்மை மற்றும் விவசாயிகள் நலத்துறை அமைச்சர் நரேந்திர சிங் தோமர் தோட்டக்கலை கிளஸ்டர் மேம்பாட்டு திட்டத்தை (சிடிபி) தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• தோட்டக்கலைத் துறையின் செயல்பாடுகள் சரியான முறையில் உள்ளதா இல்லையா என்பதை உறுதி செய்வதற்காக தோட்டக்கலை CDP தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
• இத்திட்டம் முன்னோடி கட்டங்களில் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு, மொத்தமுள்ள 53 தோட்டக்கலை குழுக்களில் 12 தோட்டக்கலை தொகுப்புகள் திட்டத்திற்குத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படுகின்றன.
• தோட்டக்கலை CDP விவசாயம் மற்றும் விவசாயிகள் நல அமைச்சகத்தின் தேசிய தோட்டக்கலை வாரியத்தால் (NHB) செயல்படுத்தப்படும்.
• அடையாளம் காணப்பட்ட தோட்டக்கலைக் கூட்டங்களை உலக அளவில் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்துவதற்கு இது வேலை செய்யும்.
• தோட்டக்கலைத் துறையை மேம்படுத்த, திட்டம் புவியியல் நிபுணத்துவத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துகிறது மற்றும் கிளஸ்டர்களின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த மற்றும் சந்தை-தலைமை வளர்ச்சியை ஊக்குவிக்கிறது.
• இந்த திட்டம் முன் தயாரிப்பு, உற்பத்தி, பிந்தைய தயாரிப்பு, அறுவடை மேலாண்மை, தளவாடங்கள், வர்த்தகம் மற்றும் சந்தைப்படுத்தல் தொடர்பான சிக்கல்களை தீர்க்கும்.
• ஆப்பிளுக்கான சோபியான் (ஜே&கே) மற்றும் கின்னவுர் (ஹெச்பி), லக்னோ (உ.பி.), கட்ச் (குஜராத்) மற்றும் மஹ்பூப்நகர் (தெலுங்கானா) மாம்பழம், அனந்த்பூர் (ஏ.பி.) மற்றும் தேனி (டி.என்.) வாழை, நாசிக் ( திராட்சைக்கு மகாராஷ்டிரா, அன்னாசிப்பழத்திற்கு சிபாஹிஜாலா (திரிபுரா), மாதுளைக்கு சோலாப்பூர் (மஹாராஷ்டிரா) மற்றும் சித்ரதுர்கா (கர்நாடகா) மற்றும் மஞ்சளுக்கு மேற்கு ஜெயின்டியா மலைகள் (மேகாலயா).
• இந்த கிளஸ்டர்கள் அந்தந்த மாநிலம்/யூடி அரசாங்கத்தின் பரிந்துரைகளின்படி நியமிக்கப்படும் கிளஸ்டர் டெவலப்மெண்ட் ஏஜென்சிகள் (CDAs) மூலம் செயல்படுத்தப்படும்.

• The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar launched the Horticulture Cluster Development Programme (CDP).
• The Horticulture CDP was launched to ensure the growth of the activities horticulture sector are in a proper manner or not.
• The programme will be executed in pilot phases and initially, 12 horticulture clusters out of the total 53 clusters are selected for the programme.
• The Horticulture CDP will be implemented by the National Horticulture Board (NHB) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare.
• It will work to develop identified horticulture clusters so that they can be represented at the global level.
• To uplift the horticulture sector, the programme leverage geographical specialization and promote integrated and market-led development of clusters.
• The programme will address the issues related to pre-production, production, post-production, harvest management, logistics, branding and marketing.
• The clusters of the pilot phase include Shopian (J&K) and Kinnaur (H.P.) for Apple, Lucknow (U.P.), Kutch (Gujarat) and Mahbubnagar (Telangana) for Mango, Anantpur (A.P.) and Theni (T.N.) for Banana, Nasik (Maharashtra) for Grapes, Siphahijala (Tripura) for Pineapple, Solapur (Maharashtra) and Chitradurga (Karnataka) for Pomegranate and West Jaintia Hills (Meghalaya) for Turmeric.
• These clusters will be implemented through Cluster Development Agencies (CDAs) which are appointed on the recommendations of the respective State/UT Government.
