• 'ஆபரேஷன் காயகல்ப்' திட்டத்தின் கீழ், மாநிலத்தில் கல்வி வசதிகளை தொடர்ந்து மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்துடன், தொடக்க மற்றும் நடுநிலைப் பள்ளிகள் 'ஸ்மார்ட் பள்ளிகளாக' மாற்றப்படும்.
• இதன் கீழ், சுமார் 30,000 மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளிகளில் ஸ்மார்ட் வகுப்பறைகள், விளையாட்டு மைதானங்கள், முறையான கழிப்பறைகள், நூலகங்கள், கணினி ஆய்வகங்கள், கலை அறைகள் மற்றும் பிற நவீன வசதிகள் ஏற்படுத்தப்படும்.
• இந்நிலையில், தரமான கல்வி என்ற தீர்மானத்தை நிறைவேற்றவும், வசதிகள் மற்றும் உள்கட்டமைப்புகளில் தனியார் பள்ளிகளுக்கு இணையாக அரசுப் பள்ளிகளை உருவாக்கவும், அரசால் செயல் திட்டம் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• கடந்த 2019-ம் ஆண்டு உத்தரபிரதேச அரசால் 'ஆபரேஷன் கயாகல்ப்' தொடங்கப்பட்டது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

குறிக்கோள்

• பொது சுகாதார வசதிகளில் தூய்மை, சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் தொற்று கட்டுப்பாட்டு நடைமுறைகளை மேம்படுத்துவதற்காக இது ஒரு முன்முயற்சி தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இந்த முன்முயற்சியின் கீழ், பொது சுகாதார வசதிகள் மதிப்பிடப்பட்டு, தூய்மை, சுகாதாரம் மற்றும் தொற்றுக் கட்டுப்பாடு ஆகிய நெறிமுறைகளின் முன்மாதிரியான செயல்திறன் சந்திப்புத் தரங்களைக் காட்டும் பொது சுகாதார வசதிகள் விருதுகளையும் பாராட்டையும் பெறும்.

• Under 'Operation Kayakalp', primary and secondary schools will be converted into 'smart schools' with the objective of continuously improving the education facilities in the state.
• Under this, about 30,000 secondary schools will be equipped with smart classrooms, playgrounds, proper toilets, libraries, computer laboratories, art rooms and other modern facilities.
• In this context, an action plan has been prepared by the government to fulfill the resolution of quality education and to make government schools at par with private schools in terms of facilities and infrastructure.
• It is noteworthy that 'Operation Kayakalp' was started by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in the year 2019.

Objective

• It an initiative has been launched to promote cleanliness, hygiene and infection control practices in public health facilities. 
• Under this initiative, public healthcare facilities shall be appraised and such public healthcare facilities that show exemplary performance meeting standards of protocols of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control will receive awards and commendation.
