ஐ.நா.வின் முதல் இந்திய பெண் போலீஸ் படை / UN FIRST INDIA'S WOMEN POLICE FORCE

• கடந்த 1956-ம் ஆண்டில் சூடான் விடுதலை அடைந்தது. அதன்பிறகு வடக்கு சூடான் பகுதி மக்களுக்கும் தெற்கு சூடான் பகுதி மக்களுக்கும் இடையே உள்நாட்டுப் போர் ஏற்பட்டது. இதன் காரணமாக கடந்த 2011-ம் ஆண்டில் தெற்கு சூடான் தனிநாடாக உதயமானது.
• சூடான் மற்றும் தெற்கு சூடான் எல்லையில் அப்யேய் பகுதி அமைந்துள்ளது. இந்த பகுதியை இரு நாடுகளும் சொந்தம் கொண்டாடி வருகின்றன. 
• ஐ.நா. சபையின் சமரசத்தின் காரணமாக அப்யேய் பகுதி சிறப்புப் பகுதியாக நிர்வகிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. அந்த பகுதியில் ஐ.நா. அமைதிப் படைபாதுகாப்புப் பணியை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது. அங்கு முகாமிட்டுள்ள ஐ.நா. அமைதிப் படையில் 315 இந்திய வீரர்கள் உள்ளனர். 
• இந்த சூழலில் சூடானின் அப்யேய் சிறப்பு பகுதியின் காவல் பணிக்காக இந்திய பெண் போலீஸ் படை அனுப்பப்பட்டு உள்ளது. இதில் 125 பெண்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
• இந்த படை லைபீரியாவில் காவல் பணியை மேற்கொண்டது. அதன்பிறகு பல்வேறு நாடுகளில் திறம்பட பணியாற்றியது. தற்போது சூடானின் அப்யேய் பகுதியில் இந்திய பெண் போலீஸ் படை முகாமிட்டு காவல் பணியை தொடங்கியுள்ளது.

• Sudan gained independence in 1956. After that there was a civil war between the people of North Sudan and the people of South Sudan. Because of this, South Sudan emerged as an independent country in 2011.
• Abyei region is located on the border of Sudan and South Sudan. Both countries claim this area as their own.
• UN Due to the compromise of the council, the Abyei region is being administered as a special region. UN in that area. Peacekeeping operations are being carried out. The UN camped there. There are 315 Indian soldiers in the Peace Corps.
• In this context, Indian women police force has been sent for policing the Abyei Special Region of Sudan. There are 125 women in it.
• The force carried out policing in Liberia. Since then it has worked effectively in various countries. Currently, the Indian Women Police Force has started policing in Abyei area of Sudan.
