• கடலோரப் பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளை தீவிரப்படுத்துவதற்கு தகவல் தொகுப்பு மையம் - இந்தியப் பெருங்கடல் பகுதி, செஷல்சில் உள்ள பிராந்திய கூட்டு நடவடிக்கை மையம், இடையே புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்தாகியுள்ளது. 
• இதன் விளைவாக இந்த இரண்டு மையங்களுக்கு இடையே கடலோரப்பகுதிகள் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு, தகவல் பகிர்தல் மற்றும் துறை சார்ந்த நிபுணர் பங்களிப்பின் மேம்பாடு போன்ற நடவடிக்கைகளில் முன்னேற்றம் ஏற்படும்.
• இந்திய கப்பற்படையின் கீழ் இயங்கும் இந்தியப் பெருங்கடல் பகுதி, பிராந்திய கூட்டு நடவடிக்கை மையத்தை மத்திய அரசு கடந்த 2018-ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 22ம் தேதி குருகிராமில் தொடங்கியது. 
• இந்தியப் பெருங்கடல் ஆணையத்தால் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்படும் கடலோரப் பாதுகாப்புக் கட்டமைப்பின் பணிகளை பிராந்திய கூட்டு நடவடிக்கை மையம் மற்றும் இது தொடர்பாக அதிகாரம் பெற்ற 7 நாடுகளின் தேசிய மையங்கள் ஆகியவைகள் இணைந்து செயலாற்றும்.

ENGLISH

• An MoU has been signed between the Information Collection Center - Indian Ocean Region, Regional Joint Operations Center in Seychelles to intensify coastal security operations.
• This will result in improved activities such as coastal awareness, information sharing and development of sectoral expert participation between the two centres.
• The Center for Joint Operations in the Indian Ocean under the Indian Navy was inaugurated by the Center on 22nd December 2018 at Gurugram.
• The coastal defense framework implemented by the Indian Ocean Authority will be jointly implemented by the Regional Joint Action Center and the National Centers of the 7 countries empowered in this regard.
