• அரசு அறிவிப்புப் பலகைகளில் திருக்குறள் / THIRUKKURAL ON GOVERNMENT NOTICE BOARDS: அரசின் தலைமைச் செயலகத் துறைகளிலும், துறைத் தலைமை அலுவலகங்கள், தன்னாட்சி நிறுவனங்கள், வாரியங்கள், கழகங்கள், இணையங்கள் ஆகியவற்றின் தலைமை அலுவலகங்களிலும் ஆட்சிச் சொல் அகராதியில் உள்ள சொற்களில் நாள்தோறும் ஓர் ஆங்கிலச் சொல்லையும், அதற்குரிய தமிழ்ச் சொல்லையும், ஒரு திருக்குறளைப் பொருளுடனும் கரும்பலகையில் எழுதி வைக்க வேண்டுமென ஆணையிடப்பட்டது. 
• திருக்குறளுக்குப் பண் அமைத்து, சுரம் அமைத்து 1958-ம் ஆண்டிலேயே அறத்துப் பாலின் முதல் பகுதியை (கீர்த்தனையாக) வெளியிட்டுள்ள இசை வித்தகர் மயிலாடுதுறை விசுவநாத சாஸ்திரி அவர்களின் அரும் தொண்டினைப் போற்றி அவரது இசைக் குறிப்புகளுடன் அறத்துப்பால், பொருட்பால் இரண்டையும் இப்போது அச்சிட்டு இசைக் கல்லூரிகளிலும், பள்ளிகளிலும் பாடமாக வைக்க ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டது.

• It has been decreed that one English word, the corresponding Tamil word and a Thirukkuralai word should be written on the blackboard every day in the government's chief secretariat departments, departmental head offices, autonomous institutions, boards, corporations and websites. 
• In appreciation of the dedication of music composer Mayiladuthurai Viswanatha Shastri, who composed the pan and suram of Aratuppaal in 1958, Aratuppaal and Aratuppaal with his musical notes have now been printed and arranged to be taught in music colleges and schools.
