• சுற்றுச்சூழல், வனம் மற்றும் பருவநிலை மாற்ற அமைச்சகம் ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் சுற்றுச்சூழல் திட்டம்/ புலம்பெயர்ந்த உயிரினங்களுக்கான மாநாடு (UNEP/CMS) உடன் இணைந்து மத்திய ஆசியப் பறக்கும் பாதையில் புலம்பெயர்ந்து வரும் பறவைகள் மற்றும் அவற்றின் வாழ்விடங்களைப் பாதுகாக்கும் முயற்சிகளை வலுப்படுத்துவதற்கான எல்லை நாடுகளின் கூட்டத்தை புது தில்லியில் 2023 மே 2 முதல் 4 வரை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தது.
• இந்திய அரசின் சுற்றுச்சூழல், வனம் மற்றும் பருவநிலை மாற்றத்திற்கான மத்திய இணை அமைச்சர் திரு அஸ்வினி குமார் சௌபே கூட்டத்தை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• கூட்டத்தில் அர்மேனியா, வங்கதேசம், கஜகஸ்தான், கிர்கிஸ்தான், குவைத், மங்கோலியா, ஓமன், சவுதி அரேபியா, தஜிகிஸ்தான் மற்றும் உஸ்பெகிஸ்தான் உள்ளிட்ட (CAF)பிராந்தியத்தின் பதினொன்று நாடுகள் கலந்துகொண்டன. 
• இந்தியாவில் உள்ள அறிவியல் நிறுவனங்கள், சர்வதேச மற்றும் தேசிய அரசு சாரா நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் நிபுணர்கள் நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்றனர்.
• பிரதிநிதிகள் மத்திய ஆசிய பறக்கும் பாதைக்கான நிறுவன கட்டமைப்பு குறித்து ஆலோசனை நடத்தியதோடு திட்டங்களை செயல்படுத்துவதற்கான முன்னுரிமைப் பகுதிகள் பற்றியும் விவாதித்தனர். 
• புலம்பெயர்ந்த பறவைகள் மற்றும் அவற்றின் வாழ்விடங்களின் நிலையான பாதுகாப்பை உறுதி செய்வதற்கான எண்ணங்களைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்வதற்கான வாய்ப்பாக இந்தக் கூட்டம் அமைந்திருந்தது.
• கூட்டத்தின் போது நடந்த விவாதங்கள், புலம்பெயர்ந்த பறவைகள் மற்றும் அவற்றின் வாழ்விடங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கான ஒருங்கிணைந்த அணுகுமுறையை உருவாக்கும் நோக்கத்துடன் ஒரு நிறுவன கட்டமைப்பு முறைகளுக்கு வழிவகுத்தது. 
• இம்முயற்சியை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தவும் முறைப்படுத்தவும் கூட்டத்தில் ஒட்டுமொத்த கருத்தொற்றுமை ஏற்பட்டது. 
• மத்திய ஆசிய பறக்கும் பாதை முன்முயற்சியின் முறைப்படுத்தல், புலம்பெயர்ந்த பறவைகள் மற்றும் அவற்றின் வாழ்விடங்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்கான ஒரு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க நடவடிக்கையாகும்.
• பறவைகள் சரணாலயத்தின் நிர்வாகத்தைப் புரிந்துகொள்வதற்கும், பறவைகள் சரணாலயங்களை நிர்வகிப்பதற்கு இந்தியாவில் பின்பற்றப்படும் சிறந்த நடைமுறைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்வதற்கும் பிரதிநிதிகள் ஹரியானா மாநிலத்தின் குருகிராமில் உள்ள சுல்தான்பூர் தேசியப் பூங்காவிற்கு களப் பயணம் மேற்கொண்டனர்.

ENGLISH

• The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme/Convention on Migratory Species (UNEP/CMS) organized a meeting of bordering countries to strengthen efforts to conserve migratory birds and their habitats in the Central Asian flyway from 2 to 4 May 2023 in New Delhi.
• Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India Mr. Ashwini Kumar Chaubey inaugurated the meeting. Eleven countries of the CAF region including Armenia, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Mongolia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated in the meeting.
• Scientific institutions in India, international and national non-governmental organizations and experts participated in the event.
• The delegates deliberated on the institutional framework for the Central Asia Flyway and discussed priority areas for implementation of the plans. The gathering was an opportunity to share ideas to ensure sustainable conservation of migratory birds and their habitats.
• Discussions during the meeting led to an institutional framework aimed at developing an integrated approach to the conservation of migratory birds and their habitats.
• There was an overall consensus in the meeting to further strengthen and formalize this initiative.
• The formalization of the Central Asian Flyway Initiative is a significant step towards the conservation of migratory birds and their habitats.
• The delegation went on a field trip to Sultanpur National Park in Gurugram, Haryana to understand the management of the bird sanctuary and learn best practices followed in India for managing bird sanctuaries.
