• அரசுமுறை பயணமாக பிரதமர் மோடி அமெரிக்க சென்ற நிலையில், அங்கு பல்வேறு முக்கிய ஒப்பந்தங்கள் கையெழுத்தாகியுள்ளன.
• பாதுகாப்பு தொடங்கி விண்வெளி ஆய்வு வரை, பல துறைகளில் இந்திய அமெரிக்க நாடுகளுக்கிடையே மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட ஒப்பந்தம் இரு நாடுகளுக்கிடையேயான உறவை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தும் என வல்லுநர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.

காலநிலை மாற்றத்தை எதிர்கொள்ள ஒப்பந்தம் 

• இந்நிலையில், காலநிலை மாற்றத்தை எதிர்கொள்வது, வரும் 2030ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள் இந்திய ரயில்வே நிகர பூஜ்ஜிய கார்பன் உமிழ்வு என்ற இலக்கை அடைவது தொடர்பாக இந்திய, அமெரிக்க நாடுகளுக்கு இடையே புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது. 
• புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளதாக இந்தியன் ரயில்வேஸ் மற்றும் சர்வதேச வளர்ச்சிக்கான அமெரிக்க முகமை ஆகியவை இணைந்து அறிவிப்பு வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

• சர்வதேச வளர்ச்சிக்கான அமெரிக்க முகமை மற்றும் இந்திய இரயில்வே ஆகியவை நீண்டகாலமாக இணைந்து செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது. 
• பசுமை இல்ல வாயு உமிழ்வைக் குறைத்தல், ஆற்றல் பாதுகாப்பை மேம்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் நிலையான நடைமுறைகளை மேம்படுத்துதல் ஆகியவற்றில் கவனம் செலுத்தி வருகிறது.

• ஜெனரல் எலெக்ட்ரிக் நிறுவனத்தின் விண்வெளிப் பிரிவு, இந்திய விமானப்படைக்கு இந்தியாவில் போர் விமானங்களைத் தயாரிக்க, அரசுக்குச் சொந்தமான ஹிந்துஸ்தான் ஏரோநாட்டிக்ஸ் லிமிடெட் (HAL) நிறுவனத்துடன் ஒப்பந்தம் எழுத்தாளர் உதயமேற்கொண்டுள்ளதாக அறிவித்துள்ளது. 
• அதேபோல, ஆர்டெமிஸ் உடன்படிக்கையில் நேற்று இந்தியா இணைந்துள்ளது. வரும் 2024ஆம் ஆண்டுக்குள், சர்வதேச விண்வெளி நிலையத்திற்கு அமெரிக்காவின் நாசாவும் இந்தியாவின் இஸ்ரோவும் இணைந்து செல்ல ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Agreement to address climate change

• Indian Railways and the US Agency for International Development have jointly announced that they have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding.
• According to the MoU, the joint expertise, resources and innovation of the two countries will be aligned with the goal of net-zero to accelerate renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy conservation technologies.

Indian Railways join hands with USA

• The United States Agency for International Development and Indian Railways are working together to improve energy efficiency. To reduce carbon footprints. To create sustainable solutions that ensure a greener future.
• US Agency for International Development Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman and Indian Railway Board Member Naveen Gulati signed the MoU in the presence of Indian Railways Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Anil Kumar Lahoti on June 14.
• The US Agency for International Development and the Indian Railways have a longstanding partnership.
• Focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy security and promoting sustainable practices.
• India and the US have jointly installed solar panels and energy-efficient lighting and equipment at about 1,000 railway stations across India.

India is a party to the Artemis Treaty

• General Electric's aerospace division has announced that it has signed a contract with state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to manufacture fighter jets in India for the Indian Air Force.
• Similarly, India has joined the Artemis Treaty yesterday. By 2024, an agreement has been signed between the US NASA and India's ISRO to go to the International Space Station.
