ஆஸ்திரேலியாவின் சிட்னியில் இந்திய கடற்படை மற்றும் ராயல் ஆஸ்திரேலிய கடற்படை (ஆர்.ஏ.என்) இடையே வருடாந்திர ஆஸிண்டெக்ஸ் கடல்சார் பயிற்சியின் 5 வது பதிப்பு ஆகஸ்ட் 22 முதல் 25 வரை நடைபெற்றது.
ஐ.என்.எஸ் சஹ்யாத்ரி மற்றும் ஐ.என்.எஸ் கொல்கத்தா ஆகியவை இந்த பயிற்சியில் பங்கேற்றன, மேலும் ரேனைச் சேர்ந்த எச்.எம்.ஏ.எஸ் சவுல்ஸ் மற்றும் எச்.எம்.ஏ.எஸ் பிரிஸ்பேன் ஆகியவை பங்கேற்றன.
கப்பல்கள் மற்றும் அவற்றின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த ஹெலிகாப்டர்கள் தவிர, போர் விமானங்கள் மற்றும் கடல் ரோந்து விமானங்களும் இந்த பயிற்சியில் பங்கேற்றன.
4 நாட்கள் நடத்தப்பட்ட ஆஸிண்டெக்ஸ், கடல்சார் நடவடிக்கைகளின் மூன்று களங்களிலும் தொடர்ச்சியான சிக்கலான பயிற்சிகளை உள்ளடக்கியது.
பொதுவான நடைமுறைகளை மறுபரிசீலனை செய்வதுடன், இந்திய கடற்படை மற்றும் ஆர்.ஏ.என் ஆகியவற்றுக்கு இடையிலான நெருக்கமான தொடர்புகள் மற்றும் பரஸ்பர செயல்பாட்டை மீண்டும் உறுதிப்படுத்துவது ஆகியவற்றுடன் இந்த பயிற்சி முடிந்தது.
ENGLISH
The 5th edition of the annual Asindex maritime exercise between the Indian Navy and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) was held in Sydney, Australia from 22nd to 25th August. INS Sahyadri and INS Kolkata participated in the exercise, along with HMAS Sauls and HMAS Brisbane from Rennes.
Apart from ships and their integrated helicopters, fighter jets and maritime patrol aircraft also took part in the exercise. Conducted over 4 days, Asindex consisted of a series of complex exercises in all three domains of maritime operations.
The exercise culminated in a review of common procedures and re-affirmation of close ties and interoperability between the Indian Navy and the RAN.
