டெல்லியில் நடைபெற்ற சங்கீத நாடக அகாடமி அம்ரித் விருது வழங்கும் விழாவில் இந்த விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன். 75 வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்ட 70 ஆண்கலைஞர்களும் 14 பெண் கலைஞர்களும் இந்த விருதுகளைப் பெற்றனர்.
தமிழ்நாட்டிலிருந்து 4 கலைஞர்களுக்கு இந்த விருது வழங்கப்பட்டது. ரூ.1 லட்சம் ரொக்கமும் விருதுப் பட்டயமும் அவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டது.
குடியரசு துணைத் தலைவர் ஜகதீப் தன்கர் இவ்விருதுகளை வழங்கினார்.
மகாராஷ்டிராவிலிருந்து 6 கலைஞர்கள், அசாம் மற்றும் ராஜஸ்தானிலிருந்து தலா 5 கலைஞர்கள் இவ்விருதைப் பெற்றனர். தமிழ்நாடு, மேற்கு வங்கம், பிஹார், ஒடிசா, கேரளா, கர்நாடகா, மத்தியபிரதேசம், மணிப்பூர் உள்ளிட்ட மாநிலங்களிலிருந்து தலா 4 கலைஞர்கள் விருது பெற்றனர்.

The awards were presented at the Sangeet Natak Akademi Amrit Awards Ceremony held in Delhi. 70 male artists and 14 female artists above the age of 75 received these awards.
This award was given to 4 artists from Tamil Nadu. They were presented with a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh and an award certificate.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar presented the awards.
6 artistes from Maharashtra, 5 artists each from Assam and Rajasthan received the award. 4 artistes each from Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Manipur received the award.
