இந்திய கடற்படை மற்றும் உபர் இடையே புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் / MOU BETWEEN INDIAN NAVY & UBER: இந்திய கடற்படைத் தளபதி அட்மிரல் ஆர்.ஹரி குமார், கடற்படை மனைவியர் நலச் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் திருமதி கலா ஹரி குமார் மற்றும் இந்தியா தெற்காசியா மற்றும் எகிப்தின் உபர் வணிகத்திற்கான மூத்த மேலாளர் திரு அபினவ் மிட்டூ ஆகியோர் முன்னிலையில் இந்திய கடற்படை உபர் நிறுவனத்துடன் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டது.

உபர் உடனான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள கடற்படை வீரர்கள் மற்றும் குடும்பங்களின் தனிப்பட்ட பயணம், பயணத்திற்கு நம்பகமான, வசதியான, பாதுகாப்பான மற்றும் சிக்கனமான பயணத் 

தீர்வுகளை வழங்குவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

இந்தப் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் கடற்படைத் தளபதியின் 'கப்பல்கள் முதலில்' திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 'மகிழ்ச்சியான பணியாளர்கள்' என்ற தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையுடன் ஒத்துப்போகிறது.

இது ஆயுதப்படைகளில் ஒரு முதல் முயற்சியாகும். மாற்றத்திற்கான தொழில்நுட்பத்தைத் தழுவ வேண்டும் என்ற இந்திய அரசின் 'டிஜிட்டல் இந்தியா' தொலைநோக்குப் பார்வையை முன்னெடுத்துச் செல்லும் வகையிலும் இது அமைந்துள்ளது.

MOU BETWEEN INDIAN NAVY & UBER: The Indian Navy signed the MoU with Uber in the presence of Admiral R. Hari Kumar, Commander of the Indian Navy, Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar, President, Navy Wives Welfare Association and Mr. Abhinav Mittoo, Senior Manager, Uber Business India South Asia and Egypt.

The MoU with Uber aims to provide reliable, convenient, safe and economical travel solutions for personal travel and travel of Navy personnel and families across the country.

Uber will extend the following benefits to Indian Navy personnel and their families

• A personalized profile in the Uber app.
• Premier Executive Cab category offering payment protection during peak office hours.
• Availability of highly rated drivers.
• Zero cancellation fee on all Uber rides.
• 24x7 premium business support.

This MoU is in line with the vision of 'Happy Crew' under the Naval Commander's 'Ships First' programme. This is a first attempt in the armed forces. It also furthers the Government of India's 'Digital India' vision to embrace transformative technology.
