2023 ஆண்டு இயற்பியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசுக்கு Pierre Agostini, Ferenc Krausz , Anne L'Huillier ஆகிய மூவர் கூட்டாக தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

பருப்பொருளில் உள்ள எலக்ட்ரான் இயக்கவியல் தன்மை குறித்த ஆய்வு செய்ய மிக குறுகிய கால ஒளி வெடிப்பை (attosecond pulses of light) உருவாக்கும் சோதனை முயற்சிக்காக இந்த நோபல் பரிசு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

ஸ்வீடனை சேர்ந்த விஞ்ஞானி ஆல்ஃப்ரெட் நோபல் நினைவாக, ஆண்டுதோறும் மருத்துவம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், பொருளாதாரம், அமைதி, இலக்கியம் என 6 துறைகளின் கீழ் மகத்தான சாதனை படைத்தவர்களுக்கு நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

Pierre Agostini, Ferenc Krausz and Anne L'Huillier have been jointly selected for the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics. This Nobel Prize has been announced for an experimental effort to generate attosecond pulses of light to study the nature of electron dynamics in matter.

In memory of Alfred Nobel, a scientist from Sweden, the Nobel Prize is awarded annually to those who have made great achievements in six fields: medicine, physics, chemistry, economics, peace, and literature.
