அகில இந்திய மொத்தவிலைக் குறியீட்டெண்ணை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட வருடாந்திர பணவீக்க விகிதம் 2023 செப்டம்பர் மாதத்தில் (-)0.26% (தற்காலிகம்) ஆக இருந்தது.

ஆகஸ்டு- 2023-ல் இது (-) 0.52% ஆக இருந்தது. 2023 செப்டம்பரில் பண வீக்கம் குறைந்ததற்கு முக்கிய காரணம் ரசாயனம் மற்றும் ரசாயனப் பொருட்கள், கனிம எண்ணெய்கள், ஜவுளி, அடிப்படை உலோகங்கள் மற்றும் உணவுப் பொருட்களின் விலை முந்தைய ஆண்டின் இதே மாதத்துடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது குறைந்துள்ளன.

கச்சா பெட்ரோலியம் மற்றும் இயற்கை எரிவாயு (10.31%) மற்றும் உணவு அல்லாத பொருட்களின் விலை (0.86%) ஆகஸ்ட் 2023- உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது 2023 செப்டம்பரில் அதிகரித்தன. கனிமங்கள் (-4.92%) மற்றும் உணவுப் பொருட்களின் விலை (-6.46%) ஆகஸ்ட் 2023-உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது 2023 செப்டம்பரில் குறைந்துள்ளன.

கனிம எண்ணெய்கள் (3.67%), மின்சாரம் (0.51%) ஆகியவற்றின் விலை ஆகஸ்ட் 2023 உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது 2023 செப்டம்பரில் அதிகரித்தன. ஆகஸ்ட் 2023 உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது 2023 செப்டம்பரில் நிலக்கரி விலை (-0.65%) குறைந்துள்ளது.

மாதந்தோறும் விலை உயர்வுக்கு அடிப்படை உலோகங்கள் முக்கிய காரணமாகின்றன. பிற போக்குவரத்து உபகரணங்கள், உலோகப் பொருட்கள், இயந்திரங்கள் மற்றும் உபகரணங்கள், ரப்பர் மற்றும் பிளாஸ்டிக் பொருட்கள் போன்றவற்றின் விலை அதிகரித்தது.

உணவுப் பொருட்கள், மோட்டார் வாகனங்கள், டிரெய்லர்கள் மற்றும் செமி டிரெய்லர்கள், மின் உபகரணங்கள், தோல் மற்றும் தொடர்புடைய தயாரிப்புகள், ரசாயனம் மற்றும் ரசாயனப் பொருட்கள் போன்றவை ஆகஸ்ட், 2023 உடன் ஒப்பிடும்போது 2023 செப்டம்பரில் விலை குறைந்தது.

டபிள்யூபிஐ உணவு குறியீட்டை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட வருடாந்திர பணவீக்க விகிதம் ஆகஸ்ட், 2023-ல் 5.62 சதவீதத்திலிருந்து 2023 செப்டம்பரில் 1.54 சதவீதமாக குறைந்தது.

The annual inflation rate based on the All India Total Price Index stood at (-)0.26% (provisional) in September 2023.

In August-2023 it was (-) 0.52%. The main reason for the decline in monetary inflation in September 2023 was the decline in prices of chemicals and chemical products, mineral oils, textiles, base metals and food items compared to the same month last year.

Crude petroleum and natural gas (10.31%) and non-food prices (0.86%) increased in September 2023 compared to August 2023. Prices of minerals (-4.92%) and food items (-6.46%) declined in September 2023 compared to August 2023.

Prices of mineral oils (3.67%), electricity (0.51%) increased in September 2023 as compared to August 2023. Coal price in September 2023 decreased (-0.65%) compared to August 2023.

Base metals are the major contributors to the month-on-month price rise. Prices of other transport equipment, metal products, machinery and equipment, rubber and plastic products increased.

Foodstuffs, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, electrical appliances, leather and allied products, chemical and chemical products etc. decreased in September 2023 as compared to August 2023.

The annual inflation rate based on the WBI food index declined to 1.54 percent in September 2023 from 5.62 percent in August 2023.
