நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள 113 நகரங்களில் நடத்தப்பட்ட ஆய்வில், 10 லட்சத்துக்கும் அதிகமான மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட நகரங்களின் பிரிவில் 49 நகரங்களில் சென்னை முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது. 100க்கு 48.42 மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.

கோவை 9வது இடத்தையும், மதுரை 11வது இடத்தையும் பிடித்துள்ளது. அதேபோல், 10 லட்சத்துக்கும் குறைவான மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட நகரங்களில், 64 நகரங்களில் கள ஆய்வில் திருச்சி முதலிடம் பிடித்துள்ளது.

Top 10 Cities for Women in India - 2023: The Top 10 Cities for Women in India - 2023 has been ranked by private company Avatar Group based on public opinion and scores given by people. For this, cities with a population of more than 10 lakhs as one division and cities with a population of less than 10 lakhs as one division were conducted from last July to December.

In a survey of 113 cities across the country, Chennai topped 49 cities in the category of cities with a population of more than 10 lakh. Scored 48.42 out of 100. Coimbatore is ranked 9th and Madurai is ranked 11th. 

Similarly, among cities with a population of less than 10 lakh, Trichy topped the field survey out of 64 cities. With a score of 40.39 out of 100, Vellore is 2nd, Salem 6th, Erode 7th, Tirupur 8th, Puducherry 10th, Tirunelveli 29th, Thanjavur 30th, Tuticorin 331st.

This study is based on social inclusion and industrial inclusion for women. In social inclusion, the score is given on the basis of urban livelihood, security, representation of women, empowerment of women, vehicle service for women, representation of women in police force, literacy, development programs for women. Out of this, Chennai got 53.1 marks and Trichy got 52.8 marks. Chennai has been given 52.8 marks and Trichy 13.4 marks.
