மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கான ஆதரவை அதிகரிப்பதற்கான ஒரு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க முன்னெடுப்பாக மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கு அதிகாரமளித்தல் துறை சைனபிள் கம்யூனிகேஷன்ஸ் நிறுவனத்துடன் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் (MoU) கையெழுத்திட்டுள்ளது.

பேச்சு மற்றும் செவித்திறன் குறைபாடுகள் உள்ள நபர்களுக்கான ஆதரவை மேம்படுத்துவதில் இந்த புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் ஒரு குறிப்பிடத்தக்க முன்னேற்றத்தை மேற்கொள்ளும்.

பார்வை மற்றும் செவித்திறன் குறைபாடுள்ள மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கான தகவல் தொடர்பு மற்றும் அணுகலை மேம்படுத்துவதை இந்த புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

தற்போது, பல்வேறு துறை நிறுவனங்கள் வெவ்வேறு ஹெல்ப்லைன் எண்களைப் பயன்படுத்துகின்றன. எனவே மையப்படுத்தப்பட்ட அளவில் பராமரிக்கப்படும், பயனருக்கு ஏற்ற குறுகிய குறியீடு ஹெல்ப்லைன் எண்ணை நிறுவுவது முக்கியம்.

மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கான தேசிய அளவிலான ஹெல்ப்லைன், குறுகிய குறியீடான 14456, 2024 ஜனவரி 8 அன்று கோவாவில் நடந்த சர்வதேச ஊதா விழாவில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது.

பேச்சு மற்றும் கேட்கும் திறன் குறைபாட்டுடன் உள்ள மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கு உதவ, சைனபிள் கம்யூனிகேஷன்ஸ் ஒத்துழைப்பு சமூக பொறுப்புடமை நிதி மூலம் ஐஎஸ்எல் உரைபெயர்ப்பாளர்களை வழங்கும். இந்த ஹெல்ப்லைன் வார நாட்களில் காலை 9:00 மணி முதல் மாலை 5:30 மணி வரை செயல்படும்.

The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Signable Communications as a significant step towards increasing support for persons with disabilities.

This MoU will make a significant step forward in improving support for people with speech and hearing impairments. The MoU aims to improve communication and accessibility for visually and hearing impaired persons.

Currently, different departments use different helpline numbers. Hence it is important to establish a centrally maintained, user friendly short code helpline number. A national helpline for persons with disabilities, short code 14456, was launched on January 8, 2024 at the International Purple Festival in Goa.

Signable Communications will provide ISL interpreters through the Collaborative Social Responsibility Fund to assist people with speech and hearing impairments. This helpline is operational on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
