26வது உலக எரிசக்தி மாநாடு / 26th WORLD ENERGY CONGRESS: நெதர்லாந்தின் ரோட்டர்டாமில் 26-வது உலக எரிசக்தி மாநாடு நடைபெறுகிறது. இதில் நேற்று (24.04.2024) அமைச்சர்கள் நிலையிலான வட்டமேசை மாநாடு நடைபெற்றது. துபாயில் நடைபெற்ற ஐ.நா பருவநிலை மாற்ற மாநாட்டின் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட முடிவுகள் குறித்து இந்த வட்ட மேசை மாநாட்டில் விவாதிக்கப்பட்டது. 

எரிசக்தி கண்டுபிடிப்பு, ஒத்துழைப்பு மற்றும்  பரிமாற்றங்களை நிர்வகிப்பது குறித்து அமைச்சர்கள் கூட்டத்தில் ஆலோசிக்கப்பட்டது. உலக எரிசக்தி மாநாட்டின் மூன்றாம் நாளில்  நடைபெற்ற வட்டமேசை மாநாட்டில், நெதர்லாந்தின் துணைப் பிரதமரும் பருவநிலை மற்றும் எரிசக்தி கொள்கை அமைச்சருமான திரு ராப் ஜெட்டன் கலந்து கொண்டார். 

இந்தியா சார்பில் இதில் மத்திய மின்துறைச் செயலாளர் திரு பங்கஜ் அகர்வால் பங்கேற்றார்.

உலகெங்கிலும் தூய்மையான எரிசக்தி மாற்றத்திற்கான  முக்கிய மாநாடக இது அமையும் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. 'மக்கள் மற்றும் பூமிக்கு ஏற்ற வகையில் எரிசக்தியை மறுவடிவமைப்பு செய்தல்’ என்ற கருப்பொருளில் இந்த மாநாடு நடைபெறுகிறது. 

நான்கு நாட்கள் நடைபெறும் இந்த மாநாட்டில், உலகளாவிய எரிசக்தி மாற்றங்களை முன்னோக்கிக் கொண்டு செல்வதில் பல்வேறு தரப்பினரின் பங்கு குறித்து விரிவாக விவாதிக்கப்படுகிறது.

உலக எரிசக்தி கவுன்சில் நீடித்த எரிசக்தி விநியோகம் மற்றும் பயன்பாட்டை ஊக்குவிக்கும் நோக்கத்துடன் 1923 ஆம் ஆண்டில் நிறுவப்பட்டது. இதில் இந்தியா உறுப்பினராக உள்ளது. 

மத்திய மின்சார அமைச்சகத்தின் ஆதரவிலும், நிலக்கரி, புதிய மற்றும் புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி, பெட்ரோலியம், இயற்கை எரிவாயு மற்றும் வெளியுறவு அமைச்சகங்களின் ஆதரவுடனும் உலக எரிசக்தி கவுன்சிலில் இந்தியா செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது.

26வது உலக எரிசக்தி மாநாடு / 26th WORLD ENERGY CONGRESS: The 26th World Energy Conference is being held in Rotterdam, Netherlands. In this yesterday (24.04.2024) Ministerial Round Table Conference was held. The results of the UN Climate Change Conference held in Dubai were discussed in this round table conference. The ministerial meeting deliberated on managing energy innovation, cooperation and exchanges. 

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Climate and Energy Policy of the Netherlands, Mr. Rob Jetten, participated in the round table on the third day of the World Energy Conference. Mr. Pankaj Aggarwal, Union Secretary of Power participated in this on behalf of India.

It is expected to be the premier conference for clean energy transition worldwide. The theme of the conference is 'Redesigning Energy for People and Earth'. The four-day conference will discuss in detail the role of various parties in driving the global energy transition forward.

The World Energy Council was established in 1923 with the aim of promoting sustainable energy supply and use. India is a member of it. India is active in the World Energy Council with the support of the Union Ministry of Power and the Ministries of Coal, New and Renewable Energy, Petroleum, Natural Gas and External Affairs.
