உலக மக்கள் தொகை குறித்து ஐநா அறிக்கை 2024 / UN REPORT ON WORLD POPULATION 2024: உலக மக்கள் தொகை அடுத்த 50 - 60 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு தொடர்ந்து உயர்ந்து, 2080ம் ஆண்டு மத்தியில் உச்சத்தை தொடும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது. இப்போது 820 கோடியாக உள்ள உலக மக்கள் தொகை, 2080ல் 1,030 கோடியாக உயரும். 

உச்சத்தை தொட்டதும் படிப்படியாகக் குறைந்து இந்த நுாற்றாண்டின் இறுதியில் 1,020 கோடியாக இருக்கும் என கணிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.மக்கள் தொகையில் சீனாவை முந்தி முதலிடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ள இந்தியா 2,100 வரை அந்த இடத்தை தக்கவைத்துக் கொள்ளும்.

தற்போது 145 கோடி யாக உள்ள இந்திய மக்கள் தொகை, 2054ல் 170 கோடியாக உயர்ந்து உச்சம் தொடும். அதன்பின் படிப்படியாகக் குறைந்து 2100ல் 150 கோடியாக இருக்கும். 

பூமியின் அதிக மக்கள் தொகை உடைய நாடாக இந்த நுாற்றாண்டு முழுதும் இந்தியா திகழும்.தற்போது 141 கோடியாக உள்ள சீன மக்கள் தொகை 2054ல் 121 கோடியாக குறையும்.

சீனாவில் குழந்தை பிறப்பு விகிதம் குறைந்து வருவதால், இந்த நுாற்றாண்டில் மிகப்பெரிய அளவிலான மக்கள் தொகை இழப்பை அந்நாடு சந்திக்கும். வரும், 2100ல் சீன மக்கள் தொகையில் 79 கோடி சரிவு ஏற்படும்.

உலக மக்கள் தொகை குறித்து ஐநா அறிக்கை 2024 / UN REPORT ON WORLD POPULATION 2024: சமீபத்தில் ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபை நடத்திய உலக நகர்மயமாதல் நிலவரம் குறித்த ஆய்வின் படி, டெல்லி 33.8 மில்லியனுக்கும் அதிகமான மக்கள் வசிக்கும் உலகளவில் இரண்டாவது அதிக மக்கள்தொகை கொண்ட நகரமாக உள்ளது.

டெல்லி, அதன் மக்கள்தொகையுடன் (33.8 மில்லியன்) மலேசியா போன்ற நாடுகளை விட அதிகமாக உள்ளது, உள்கட்டமைப்பு, வீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் பொது சேவைகளில் கடுமையான சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்கிறது. 

மும்பையும், அதன் 21.7 மில்லியன் மக்கள்தொகையுடன், நெரிசலான பகுதிகளில் இருந்து போதிய சுகாதாரமின்மை போன்ற பிரச்சனைகளை எதிர்கொள்கிறது. 

15.6 மில்லியன் மக்கள்தொகையுடன் கொல்கத்தா முதல் 20 இடங்களுக்குள் (18வது ரேங்க்) இடம் பிடித்துள்ளது. மேலும், உலகின் அதிக மக்கள் தொகை கொண்ட பட்டியலில் டோக்கியோ முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது.

கடந்த காலங்களில் உலக மக்கள் தொகை 1 பில்லியனை எட்ட ஆயிரக்கணக்கான ஆண்டுகள் ஆன நிலையில், வெறும் 200 ஆண்டுகளில் 7 பில்லியனாக உயர்ந்தது. வரவிருக்கும் 2100 ஆம் ஆண்டில் இந்த எண்ணிக்கை 10.9 பில்லியனாக உயரும் என்று கணிப்புகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.

India, which has overtaken China in terms of population, will retain that position until 2,100. The current population of India is 145 crore and will reach its peak by 2054, rising to 170 crore. 

Thereafter it will gradually decrease to 150 crores by 2100. India will be the world's most populous country throughout this century. China's population of 141 crores will decrease to 121 crores in 2054. 

Due to the declining birth rate in China, the country will experience the largest population loss in this century. By 2100, China's population will decline by 79 million.

List of most populous cities in the world

UN REPORT ON WORLD POPULATION 2024: According to a recent study on the state of world urbanization conducted by the United Nations, Delhi is the second most populous city in the world with a population of over 33.8 million.

Delhi, with its population (33.8 million) larger than countries such as Malaysia, faces serious challenges in infrastructure, housing and public services. Mumbai, with its population of 21.7 million, also faces problems such as inadequate sanitation from overcrowded areas. 

Kolkata is in the top 20 (18th rank) with a population of 15.6 million. Also, Tokyo tops the most populous list in the world. In the past, the world's population reached 1 billion thousands of years ago, rising to 7 billion in just 200 years. Projections suggest that this number will rise to 10.9 billion by the year 2100.
