VERKALAI THEDI THITTAM (INSEARCH OF ROOTS SCHEME) / வேர்களைத் தேடி திட்டம்: புலம்பெயர்ந்து வாழும் இளைஞர்களை தாய்த் தமிழ்நாட்டின் மரபின் வேர்களோடு உள்ள தொடர்பை புதுப்பிக்கும் வண்ணமும், தமிழ் கலை பண்பாடு மற்றும் கலாச்சாரத்தினை அயலகத் தமிழர்களிடையே பரிமாற்றம் செய்யும் வகையிலும், ஆண்டுதோறும் இளைஞர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து அவர்களை தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு அழைத்து வந்து பண்டைய தமிழர்களின் கட்டடம்/சிற்பக்கலை, நீர் மேலாண்மை, ஆடைகள் மற்றும் ஆபரணங்கள், கலை இலக்கிய பண்பாடு, தொல்லியல் ஆய்வுகள், அறிஞர்கள் மற்றும் சான்றோர்களுடன் கலந்துரையாடல் என்ற கலாச்சார பரிமாற்ற சுற்றுலாத் திட்டமான "வேர்களைத் தேடி" என்ற அயலகத் தமிழ் இளைஞர்களுக்கான திட்டத்தை தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் அவர்கள் 24.05.2023 அன்று சிங்கப்பூரில் நடைபெற்ற தமிழ் கலை பண்பாட்டு நிகழ்ச்சியில் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.

இத்திட்டத்தின்படி, அயலகத்தில் வாழும் 18 முதல் 30 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட தமிழ் இளைஞர்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டு, தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு வரவழைத்து, தமிழ் மற்றும் தமிழர்களின் பெருமிதங்கனை உணரும் வகையில் தமிழ்நாட்டின் வரலாற்று சிறப்புமிக்க இடங்களுக்கு, தமிழ்நாடு அரசு சார்பில் அழைத்துச் செல்லப்படுவர்.

அதன் அடிப்படைtயில், சென்ற ஆண்டு இந்த பண்பாட்டுப் பயணத்திட்டத்தில், அயலகத் தமிழர் நலன் மற்றும் மறுவாழ்வுத்துறை ஆணையரகம் மூலம் நான்கு நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த தமிழ் இளைஞர்களைக் கொண்ட முதற்கட்ட பயணம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

அதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக, நடப்பு ஆண்டில் இரண்டாம் கட்ட பயணமாக, தென் ஆப்ரிக்கா, உகாண்டா, குவாடலூப், மார்டினிக், பிஜி, இந்தோனேஷியா, மொரிஷியஸ், ஆஸ்திரேலியா, மாலத்தீவு, கனடா, மியான்மர், மலேசியா, இலங்கை, பிரான்சு மற்றும் ஜெர்மனி ஆகிய 15 நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த 100 அயலகத் தமிழ் இளைஞர்கள் 1.08.2024 அன்று முதல் 15.08.2024 வரையிலான பதினைந்து நாட்களுக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லப்பட உள்ளனர்.

இப்பயணத்தினை தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் திரு. மு. க. ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் இன்றைய தினம் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். இப்பயணத்தில் பங்குபெறும் அயலகத் தமிழ் இளைஞர்கள் தமிழ்நாட்டின் கலாச்சார தூதுவர்களாக செயல்பட்டு தமிழர்களின் கலாச்சார பெருமைகளை அவர்களது நாடுகளில் பரப்புவர்.

தமிழ்நாடு முதலமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் இன்று தலைமைச் செயலகத்தில், தமிழ்நாட்டின் கலாச்சார உறவுகளை மேம்படுத்தும் "வேர்களைத் தேடி" திட்டத்தின் கீழ், தென் ஆப்ரிக்கா, உகாண்டா, குவாடலூப், மார்டினிக், பிஜி, இந்தோனேஷியா, மொரிஷியஸ், ஆஸ்திரேலியா, மாலத்தீவு, கனடா, மியான்மர், மலேசியா, இலங்கை. பிரான்சு மற்றும் ஜெர்மனி ஆகிய நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த 100 அயலகத் தமிழ் இளைஞர்கள் 1.08.2024 அன்று முதல் 15.08.2024 வரையிலான தமிழக சுற்றுப் பயணத்திற்கு துணிமணிகள், பயண குறிப்புகள், புத்தகங்கள், அடையாள அட்டை போன்ற பயணத்திற்கான பொருட்களை வழங்கி தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.

VERKALAI THEDI THITTAM (INSEARCH OF ROOTS SCHEME): In order to renew the connection of the migrant youth with the roots of the heritage of mother Tamil Nadu and to exchange the Tamil art culture and culture among the neighboring Tamils, every year the youth are selected and brought to Tamil Nadu to study ancient Tamil architecture/sculpture, water management, clothing and ornaments, art literature culture, archeological studies, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister launched a cultural exchange tourism program "In Search of Roots (Verkalai Thedi Thittam)" for Tamil youth in Tamil Nadu on 24.05.2023 at the Tamil Art and Culture Program held in Singapore on 24.05.2023.

According to this scheme, Tamil youths between 18 to 30 years living in the district will be selected and invited to Tamil Nadu and will be taken to the historical places of Tamil Nadu on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government to feel the pride of Tamil and Tamils.

Based on that, last year in this cultural tour, the first phase of the trip was carried out by Tamil youths from four countries through the Tamil Nadu Welfare and Rehabilitation Commission. Subsequently, in the current year as the second phase of travel, South Africa, Uganda, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Fiji, Indonesia, Mauritius, Australia, Maldives, Canada, Myanmar, Malaysia, Sri Lanka. 100 migrant Tamil youths from 15 countries namely France and Germany are to be taken for a fortnight from 1.08.2024 to 15.08.2024.

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M. K. Stalin started today. Diaspora Tamil youths participating in this trip will act as cultural ambassadors of Tamil Nadu and spread the cultural pride of Tamils ​​in their countries.
