தனிநபர் வருமானம் குறித்த உலக வங்கி அறிக்கை / World Bank Report on Personal Income 2024: இந்தியா, இந்தோனேசியா, சீனா உள்ளிட்ட நாடுகள், தங்களது பொருளாதார கொள்கையில் முன்னேற்றம் தரும் வகையிலான மாற்றங்களை கொண்டு வராவிட்டால் நடுத்தர வருமான பிரிவிலேயே அவை சிக்கிக்கொள்ளும் அபாயம் உள்ளதாக, உலக வங்கி எச்சரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளது.

உலக வங்கி இது தொடர்பாக வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்திக் குறிப்பில், 1990ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து மொத்தம் 34 நாடுகள் மட்டுமே, நடுத்தர வருமான பிரிவிலிருந்து அதிக வருமானம் பெரும் பிரிவுக்கு முன்னேறியுள்ளன என தெரிவித்துள்ளது. 

நடுத்தர வருமான பிரிவில் உள்ள நாடுகளான இந்தியா, இந்தோனேஷியா, சீனா உள்ளிட்ட நாடுகள் அதிக வருமானம் ஈட்டும் பிரிவுக்கு முன்னேற, பல மேஜிக்களை செய்தாக வேண்டும். அப்படி செய்தால் மட்டுமே, அதிக வருமானம் ஈட்டும் நிலையை எட்ட முடியும். 

மத்திய வருமான பிரிவில் உள்ள சுமார் 108 நாடுகளின் பிரச்னையானது, ஏற்கனவே, வழக்கமாக பயன்படுத்தி வந்த முறைகள் தற்போது பயன் அளிக்காமல் போய்விட்டன. 

இந்த நாடுகளின் மற்றொரு மிகப்பெரிய பிரச்சனை என்னவென்றால், இவை பணக்கார நாடாக மாறுவதற்கு முன்பே, அதிக வயதானவர்களை கொண்ட நாடாக மாறிவிடும் என்பது தான்.

மேலும், பருவ நிலை மாற்றம் வேறு கூடுதல் சவாலை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. பருவ நிலை மாற்றத்துக்கு ஏற்ப தங்களை தயார்படுத்திக் கொள்வதற்கு, பணக்கார நாடுகளைக் காட்டிலும் நடுத்தர மற்றும் ஏழை நாடுகளுக்கே அதிக செலவாகும்.

அதனால், நடுத்தர வருமானப் பிரிவில் உள்ள நாடுகள், தங்களது பொருளாதாரக் கொள்கைகளை மாற்றியே தீரவேண்டும். அவ்வாறு செய்யவிட்டால், அமெரிக்க தனிநபர் வருமானத்தில் 25% சதவீதத்தை அடைய, சீனாவுக்கு 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாகும். இந்தோனேஷியாவுக்கு 70 ஆண்டுகளும்; இந்தியாவுக்கு 75 ஆண்டுகளும் தேவைப்படும் என உலக வங்கி தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

World Bank Report on Personal Income 2024: The World Bank has warned that countries including India, Indonesia, and China are at risk of being trapped in the middle income category if they do not bring progressive changes in their economic policies.

In a press release published by the World Bank, since 1990, only 34 countries have progressed from the middle-income group to the high-income group.

Countries like India, Indonesia, and China in the middle income category have to do a lot of magic to progress to the high income category. Only by doing that, you can reach a higher earning position.

The problem with about 108 countries in the middle income category is that the methods that have been used in the past are no longer useful. Another big problem with these countries is that before they become rich, they tend to become very old.

Also, climate change poses another additional challenge. It will cost middle and poor countries more than rich countries to prepare themselves for climate change.

Therefore, countries in the middle income category must change their economic policies. If it does, it will take more than 10 years for China to catch up to 25% of US per capita income. 70 years for Indonesia; World Bank says India will need 75 years.
