TAMILNADU DOG BREEDING DRAFT POLICY 2024 / தமிழ்நாடு நாய்கள் இனப்பெருக்க கொள்கை வரைவு அறிக்கை 2024: தமிழ்நாடு நாய்கள் இனப்பெருக்க கொள்கைக்கான வரைவு அறிக்கை கால்நடை பராமரிப்பு துறையால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது. இதற்கு தமிழக அரசு ஒப்புதல் அளித்து அரசாணை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

நாய்கள் இனப்பெருக்க கொள்கை, விலங்கு வதை தடுப்பு சட்டத்தின் அடிப்படையில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் நெறிசார்ந்த இனப்பெருக்கம், கண்மூடித்தனமான இனப்பெருக்கத்தை தவிர்த்தல், மரபு சார்ந்த பிரச்னைகளுடன் குட்டிகள் பிறப்பதை தவிர்த்தல், தனித்துவமான பல்லுயிர் பாதுகாப்பு மதிப்புகளுடன் கூடிய நாட்டினங்களை பாதுகாத்தல், வெளிநாடுகளில் இருந்து பரவும் நோய்களில் இருந்து பாதுகாத்தல், இனப்பெருக்கம் நடைபெறும் இடங்களை பதிவு செய்தல், இனப்பெருக்கம் செய்வோர் உரிமம் பெறுதல், நாய்களுக்கு சான்றிதழ் பெறுதல், நாய் இனப்பெருக்க ஏஜென்சிகளை கண்காணித்தல் போன்றவை இடம் பெற்றுள்ளது.

தமிழகத்தின் நாட்டினங்களான ராஜபாளையம், கோம்பை, சிப்பிப்பாறை மற்றும் கன்னி ஆகிய இனங்களை அங்கீகரித்தல், கட்டை, ராமநாதபுரம் மண்டை நாய், மலை பட்டி, செங்கோட்டை நாய் ஆகிய இனங்களுக்கு அங்கீகாரம் அளித்து, பாதுகாத்தல் உள்ளிட்ட பல விஷயங்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.

தவிர, பாசெட் ஹவுண்ட், பிரஞ்சு புல்டாக், அலாஸ்கன் மலாமுட், கீஷொண்ட், சோ சோ, நியூஃபவுண்ட்லாந்து, நார்வேக்லான் எல்கவுண்ட், திபெத்திய மாஸ்டிஃப், சைபீரியன் ஹஸ்கி, செயின்ட் பெர்னார்ட், பக் ஆகிய 11 நாய் இனங்கள் இந்திய தட்பவெப்பம் போன்ற சூழலை தாக்குபிடிக்க கூடியதாக இல்லை. எனவே, அதுபோன்ற குளிர் பிரதேச நாய் இனங்களை வளர்ப்பதற்கு கண்டிப்பாக தடை விதிக்கப்படுவதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

பொதுமக்கள் வளர்க்க உள்ள குறிப்பிட்ட நாய்கள் குறித்த விவரங்களை தமிழ்நாடு விலங்குகள் நல வாரியத்தில் பதிவு செய்ய வேண்டும். நாய்களின் உடல்நிலை குறித்த சான்றிதழை விலங்குகள் நல வாரியம் வழங்கும்.

நாய்களுக்கான உரிமையாளர்கள் குறித்த விவரங்கள், விலங்குகள் நல வாரியத்தில் அவ்வப்போது பதிவேற்றம் செய்யவேண்டும். நாய் வளர்ப்போர், அதை வளர்க்கும் முறை, உணவு, இனப்பெருக்கம், செயல்பாடு பற்றி தெரிந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

TAMILNADU DOG BREEDING DRAFT POLICY 2024: A draft report on the Tamil Nadu Dog Breeding Policy has been prepared by the Department of Animal Husbandry. The Government of Tamil Nadu approved this and issued an ordinance.

The Dog Breeding Policy is based on the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. These include ethical breeding, avoidance of indiscriminate breeding, avoidance of offspring with genetic problems, protection of breeds with unique biodiversity conservation values, protection from foreign-borne diseases, registration of breeding sites, licensing of breeders, certification of dogs, monitoring of dog breeding agencies, etc. Placed.

Recognition of the national breeds of Tamil Nadu such as Rajapalayam, Gombai, Sippiparai and Kanni, recognition and protection of Kattai, Ramanathapuram skull dog, Malai Patti and Sengottai dog.

Besides, 11 dog breeds like Basset Hound, French Bulldog, Alaskan Malamute, Keeshond, Chow Chow, Newfoundland, Norwegian Elkhound, Tibetan Mastiff, Siberian Husky, St. Bernard, Pug are not able to withstand Indian climate. Therefore, breeding of such cold region dog breeds is strictly prohibited.

The details of the specific dogs to be kept by the public should be registered with the Tamil Nadu Animal Welfare Board. The Animal Welfare Board will issue a health certificate for the dogs.

The details of the owners of the dogs should be uploaded from time to time in the Animal Welfare Board. Dog breeders need to know about dog breeding, feeding, breeding and activity.

It should be ensured that its mental and physical condition is not affected. Pet dogs should be regularly checked by a veterinarian for their health.
