2022-23 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான தொழிற்சாலைகள் குறித்த வருடாந்தர மதிப்பீட்டு அறிக்கையை ஒன்றிய அரசின் புள்ளியியல் மற்றும் திட்ட அமலாக்கத்துறை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

அதில் உற்பத்தி துறையில் பங்களிக்கும் பல்வேறு தொழிற்சாலைகளில் உற்பத்தி திறன், வேலை வாய்ப்பு மூலதன உருவாக்கம் போன்றவற்றின் தகவல்கள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.

அதில் தொழிற்சாலைகளின் எண்ணிக்கை மற்றும் தொழிற்சாலைகளில் வேலைவாய்ப்புகள் வழங்கும் மாநிலங்கள் குறித்த பட்டியலில் இந்தியாவிலேயே அதிக அளவிலான தொழிற்சாலைகளை கொண்ட மாநிலமாகவும், அதிகம் பேருக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்பு வழங்கிய மாநிலமாகவும் தமிழ்நாடு முதலிடம் வகிக்குகிறது.

இந்தியாவில் மொத்தமுள்ள சுமார் 2 லட்சத்து 53 ஆயிரம் தொழிற்சாலைகளில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் மட்டும் சுமார் 40 ஆயிரம் தொழிற்சாலைகள் அமைந்துள்ளதாக அறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. அடுத்ததாக குஜராத்தில் 31ஆயிரம் தொழிற்சாலைகளும், மராட்டியத்தில் சுமார் 26 ஆயிரம் தொழிற்சாலைகளும் உள்ளன.

உத்தரபிரதேசம் மற்றும் ஆந்திர மாநிலங்கள் அடுத்தடுத்த இடங்களில் உள்ளன. தொழிற்சாலைகளில் அதிக வேலைவாய்ப்பு வழங்கிய மாநிலங்களிலும் நாட்டிலேயே தமிழ்நாடு முதலிடம் வகிக்கிறது.

நாடு முழுவதும் சுமார் 1 கோடியே 85 லட்சம் வேலை வாய்ப்புகளில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் மட்டும் 15 விழுக்காடு அதாவது சுமார் 27 லட்சம் பேருக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்பு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

அடுத்தடுத்து உள்ள மராட்டியம் மற்றும் குஜராத் மாநிலங்களில் சுமார் 23 லட்சம் பேருக்கு வேலைவாய்ப்பு வழங்கப்படுவதாகவும் ஒன்றிய அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

The Union Government's Department of Statistics and Plan Implementation has released the Annual Assessment Report on Industries for the year 2022-23. It contains information on production capacity, employment capital formation etc. in various industries contributing to the manufacturing sector.

In terms of the number of factories and employment in factories, Tamil Nadu ranks first as the state with the largest number of factories in India and the state that provides the most employment.

According to the report, out of total 2 lakh 53 thousand factories in India, about 40 thousand factories are located in Tamil Nadu alone. Next there are 31 thousand factories in Gujarat and about 26 thousand factories in Maharashtra.

Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh are next. Tamil Nadu ranks first in the country in terms of employment in industries.

Out of 1 crore 85 lakh job opportunities across the country, 15 percent i.e. about 27 lakh people are provided employment in Tamil Nadu alone. The Union Government has also announced that employment will be provided to about 23 lakh people in the adjoining states of Maharashtra and Gujarat.
