2024ஆம் ஆண்டு பொருளாதாரத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு 2024 / NOBEL PRIZE IN ECONOMICS 2024: உலகின் பல்வேறு துறைகளில் சிறந்த பங்களிப்பை வழங்கிய ஸ்வீடன் விஞ்ஞானி ஆல்பிரட் நோபலின் பெயரில் ஆண்டுதோறும் இந்த விருது வழங்கப்படுகிறது.

ஆல்பிரட் நெபல் 1896-இல் இறந்தார். 1901 முதல், இந்த விருதுகள் அவரது நினைவாக அவரது நம்பிக்கையால் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.

இந்த ஆண்டு மருத்துவம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், இலக்கியம் ஆகிய துறைகளுக்கான நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றவர்களின் பெயர்கள் ஏற்கனவே அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. பொருளாதாரத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசு இன்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. விருது பெறுபவர்களுக்கு 11 லட்சம் ஸ்வீடிஷ் குரோனர் (1 மில்லியன் டொலர்) ரொக்கப் பரிசு வழங்கப்படும்.

மாசசூசெட்ஸ் இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆப் டெக்னாலஜியின் டேரன் ஏஸ் மோக்லு (Daron Acemoglu) மற்றும் சைமன் ஜான்சன் (Simon Johnson) மற்றும் சிகாகோ பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் ஜேம்ஸ் ஏ. ராபின்சன் (James A Robinson) ஆகியோருக்கு இந்த ஆண்டுக்கான பொருளாதாரத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

சமூகத்தின் நல்வாழ்வைத் தீர்மானிப்பதில் இந்த நிறுவனங்களின் பங்கு குறித்த அவர்களின் பணிக்காக அவர்களுக்கு நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது.

கடந்த ஆண்டும் 3 பேருக்கு பொருளாதாரத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசு வழங்கப்பட்டது. பென் எஸ் பெர்னான்கி, டக்ளஸ் டபிள்யூ. டயமண்ட் மற்றும் பிலிப் எச் டிப்விக் ஆகியோர் நோபல் பரிசைப் பெற்றனர்.

மூவரும் வங்கிகள் மற்றும் நிதி நெருக்கடிகள் குறித்து ஆராய்ச்சி செய்தனர். நிதி நெருக்கடிகளின் போது வங்கிகளின் பங்கு எவ்வளவு முக்கியமானது என்பதை மூவரும் தங்கள் ஆராய்ச்சியில் வெளிப்படுத்தினர்.

வங்கிகள் திவாலாவதைத் தடுக்க இந்த ஆய்வு முக்கியமானது என்று நோபல் கமிட்டி கருதுகிறது.

NOBEL PRIZE IN ECONOMICS 2024: The award is given annually in the name of Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel who has made outstanding contributions in various fields of the world. Alfred Nebel died in 1896. Since 1901, these awards have been presented by his trust in his memory.

The names of this year's Nobel Prize winners in the fields of medicine, physics, chemistry and literature have already been announced. The Nobel Prize in Economics was announced today. The awardees will receive a cash prize of 11 lakh Swedish kroner ($1 million).

Daron Acemoglu and Simon Johnson of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and James A. James A Robinson has been awarded this year's Nobel Prize in Economics. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for his work on the role of these institutions in determining the well-being of society.

Last year also 3 people were awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics. Ben S. Bernanke, Douglas W. Diamond and Philip H Dybwick won the Nobel Prize. All three researched banks and financial crises. 

All three revealed in their research how important the role of banks was during financial crises. The Nobel Committee feels that this research is important to prevent bank failures.
