BEST CITIES FOR WOMEN IN INDIA 2024 / இந்தியாவில் பெண்களுக்கான சிறந்த நகரங்கள் பட்டியல் 2024: தமிழகத்தில் 8 நகரங்கள் இந்தப் பட்டியலில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன. பணியிட கலாசார ஆலோசனை நிறுவனமான அவதாா்’ குழுமம் ‘இந்தியாவில் பெண்களுக்கான சிறந்த நகரங்கள்’ எனும் ஆராய்ச்சி முடிவுகளை புதன்கிழமை வெளியிட்டது.

நகரங்கள் வாய்ப்புகளுக்கான அடித்தளமாக உள்ளன. இதில் பெண்கள் எப்படி வாழ்கிறாா்கள், வேலை செய்கின்றனா், வளா்கிறாா்கள் என்பதை நகரங்கள் வடிவமைக்கின்றன. எனவே, பெண்களின் முன்னேற்றத்துக்கு நகரங்களின் அடிப்படை கொள்கைகள், கலாசார அமைப்பு குறித்த தெளிவான புரிதல் முக்கியமானது.

அதற்காக கடந்த ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி முதல் நவம்பா் வரை நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள 60 நகரங்களில் உள்ள 1,672 பெண்களிடம் கணக்கெடுப்பு நடத்தப்பட்டது.

சமூக உள்ளடக்க மதிப்பெண், தொழில் துறை உள்ளடக்க மதிப்பெண், மக்கள் அனுபவ மதிப்பெண் ஆகிய 3 குறியீடுகளின் அடிப்படையில் பாதுகாப்பான நகரங்கள் வரிசைப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன.

இதில், மாநிலங்கள் வாரியான மதிப்பீட்டில் கேரளம் 20.89 மதிப்பெண்களுடன் முதலிடத்திலும், தெலங்கானா 20.57 மதிப்பெண்களுடன் இரண்டாம் இடத்திலும், மகாராஷ்டிரம் 19.93 மதிப்பெண்களுடன் மூன்றாம் இடத்திலும், 19.38 மதிப்பெண்களுடன் தமிழ்நாடு நான்காம் இடத்திலும் உள்ளன.

நகரங்கள் வாரியான மதிப்பீட்டில் குருகிராம் 10-க்கு 7.68 மதிப்பெண்களுடன் முதலிடத்தில் உள்ளது. பெரிய நகரங்களில் மும்பை 7.60 மதிப்பெண்ணும், பெங்களூரு 7.54, சென்னை 7.08, ஹைதராபாத் 6.95, திருவனந்தபுரம் 5.51 மதிப்பெண்ணும் பெற்றுள்ளன.

சிறிய நகரங்களில் கோவை 7.75 மதிப்பெண்களுடன் முதலிடத்திலும், கொச்சி 7.41 மதிப்பெண்களுடன் இரண்டாம் இடத்திலும் உள்ளன.

அதுபோல் கோவை, புணே, சென்னை ஆகிய நகரங்கள் வாழ்க்கைத் தரத்திலும், திருவனந்தபுரம், மும்பை, ஹைதராபாத் ஆகிய நகரங்கள் பாதுகாப்பிலும் முதல் 3 இடங்களில் உள்ளன.

BEST CITIES FOR WOMEN IN INDIA 2024: Eight cities in Tamil Nadu feature in the list. Workplace culture consultancy firm Avatar Group on Wednesday released the results of its research titled ‘Best Cities for Women in India’.

Cities are the bedrock of opportunities. Cities shape how women live, work and thrive. Therefore, a clear understanding of the basic policies and cultural structure of cities is important for the advancement of women.

For this, a survey was conducted among 1,672 women in 60 cities across the country from February to November last year. The safest cities have been ranked based on three indicators – social inclusion score, industry inclusion score and people experience score.

In this, in the state-wise assessment, Kerala is at the top with 20.89 scores, Telangana is at the second place with 20.57 scores, Maharashtra is at the third place with 19.93 scores and Tamil Nadu is at the fourth place with 19.38 scores.

In the city-wise assessment, Gurugram is at the top with a score of 7.68 out of 10. Among the big cities, Mumbai has scored 7.60, Bengaluru 7.54, Chennai 7.08, Hyderabad 6.95, and Thiruvananthapuram 5.51.

Among the small cities, Coimbatore is at the top with a score of 7.75, and Kochi is at the second place with a score of 7.41. Similarly, the cities of Coimbatore, Pune, and Chennai are in the top 3 in quality of life, and Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, and Hyderabad are in the top 3 in safety.
