HIGHEST CANCER DEATH RATE IN WORLD / புற்றுநோய் அதிகம் உள்ள நாடுகளின் பட்டியல்: கடந்த 20 ஆண்டுகளில் வயது வாரியாக 36 வகை புற்றுநோய் பாதிப்புகளுக்கு உள்ளானவர்களின் தரவுகளை கொண்டு ஆய்வு நடத்தப்பட்டது.

அதன் முடிவுகளில் புற்றுநோய் அதிகம் உள்ள நாடுகளின் பட்டியலில் இந்தியா 3வது இடத்திலும், சீனா, அமெரிக்கா முதல் 2 இடங்களிலும் உள்ளது தெரிய வந்துள்ளது.

புற்றுநோயால் ஏற்படும் மரணங்களின் 10 சதவீதத்துடன் சீனாவுக்கு அடுத்தப்படியாக இந்தியா உள்ளது. மார்பக புற்றுநோயால் 30% பெண்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும், அதனால் ஏற்படும் மரணம் 24% என்ற அளவிலும் உள்ளது.

கருப்பை வாய் புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்படும் 10% பெண்களில் 20% அளவிற்கு இறப்பு இருப்பதாக தெரிய வந்துள்ளது. புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்படும் ஆண்களில் வாய் புற்றுநோய் பாதிப்பு 16% பேரிடம் இருப்பதாகவும் சுவாசம் மற்றும் உணவுக்குழாய் பாதிப்பு அடுத்தடுத்த இடங்களில் உள்ளது கண்டறியப்பட்டுள்ளது.

புற்றுநோயால் 70 வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்டவர்கள் அதிகம் பாதிக்கப்படுவதாகவும், அதற்கு அடுத்தப்படியாக 15 முதல் 49 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களும் உள்ளது தெரிய வந்துள்ளது.

புற்றுநோய் மரங்களில் 70% மத்திய வயது உள்ளவர்களிடம் நிகழ்வதால் நோயை விரைந்து கண்டறிவது அவசியம் என அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.

HIGHEST CANCER DEATH RATE IN WORLD: The study was conducted using data on 36 types of cancer cases by age in the last 20 years. The results revealed that India is in third place in the list of countries with the highest number of cancer cases, while China and the United States are in the top two.

India is second only to China with 10 percent of cancer deaths. Breast cancer affects 30% of women and accounts for 24% of deaths. Cervical cancer has been found to be responsible for 20% of deaths in 10% of women. Oral cancer affects 16% of men with cancer, followed by respiratory and esophageal cancer.

It has been found that people over the age of 70 are most affected by cancer, followed by people between the ages of 15 and 49. Since 70% of cancer cases occur in middle-aged people, it is important to diagnose the disease early.
