RANKING LIST OF POWER DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES IN 2023 - 2024 / மத்திய மின்துறை தரவரிசை பட்டியல் 2023 - 2024: கடந்த 2023-24ம் நிதியாண்டில் நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள மின்விநியோக நிறுவனங்களின் செயல் திறன் தொடர்பாக, அவற்றின் நிதி நிலைமை, மின்கட்டண வசூல், மின்விநியோக செயல்பாட்டை மதிப்பீடு செய்து தரவரிசை பட்டியலை மத்திய மின்துறை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.

இந்தப் பட்டியலில் 52 அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் மின்விநியோக நிறுவனங்கள் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளன. அவற்றின் செயல் திறன் அடிப்படையில் மதிப்பெண் வழங்கி 'ஏ பிளஸ், ஏ, பி, பி மைனஸ், சி, சி மைனஸ்' போன்ற கிரேடுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

இதில், தமிழக மின்பகிர்மான கழகம் 11.90 மதிப்பெண்ணுடன் 'சி மைனஸ்' கிரேடு பெற்று 48-வது இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ளது. இந்நிறுவனம், இதற்கு முந்தைய ஆண்டான 2022-23 பட்டியலில் 'சி மைனஸ் கிரேடு' 50-வது இடத்தில் இருந்தது.

தரவரிசை பட்டியலில் தமிழக மின்பகிர்மான கழகம் மோசமான நிலையில் இருப்பதற்கு பல்வேறு காரணங்கள் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதன்படி, மின்சாரத்தை ஒரு இடத்தில் இருந்து மற்றொரு இடத்துக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்லும் போது ஏற்படும் மின்இழப்பு 10.31 சதவீதத்தில் இருந்து 12.92 சதவீதமாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

மின்பயன்பாட்டைக் கணக்கெடுத்து, பில் போடும் திறன் 90.83 சதவீதத்தில் இருந்து 90.08 சதவீதமாக குறைந்துள்ளது. மின்கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கும் நாள் 55-ல் இருந்து 58 நாட்களாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

மின்கொள்முதலுக்கு பணம் வழங்குவது 170 நாட்களில் இருந்து 184 நாட்களாக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. மின்கட்டணம் வசூலிக்கும் திறன் 98.75 சதவீதத்தில் இருந்து 96.67 சதவீதமாக குறைந்துள்ளது.

RANKING LIST OF POWER DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES IN 2023 - 2024: The Union Ministry of Power has released a ranking list of power distribution companies across the country for the financial year 2023-24, assessing their financial condition, electricity bill collection and electricity distribution operations.

52 government and private power distribution companies are included in this list. Based on their performance, grades such as 'A plus, A, B, B minus, C, C minus' have been given.

In this, Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation has secured the 'C minus' grade with a score of 11.90 and has secured the 48th position. The company was ranked 50th in the previous year's 2022-23 list with a 'C minus' grade.

Moreover, in this ranking list, Adani Electricity Mumbai, a private company in the state of Maharashtra, has taken the first place with 99.80 marks, Dakshin Gujarat Vij, a company of the Gujarat government, has taken the second place with 97.50 marks, and Noida Power Company of Uttar Pradesh has taken the third place with 97.20 marks.

Various reasons have been given for the poor condition of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Corporation in the ranking list. Accordingly, the power loss while transporting electricity from one place to another has increased from 10.31 percent to 12.92 percent.

The ability to calculate and bill electricity consumption has decreased from 90.83 percent to 90.08 percent. The days for collecting electricity bills have increased from 55 to 58 days. The payment for electricity purchases has increased from 170 days to 184 days. 

The efficiency of electricity collection has decreased from 98.75 percent to 96.67 percent. At the same time, the gap between the revenue generated from the sale of one unit of electricity and the cost of electricity has decreased from 89 paise to 11 paise, it has been reported.
